Chapter 18 ~ i just dont know...

*Rebecca's point of view*

"What the fuck is going on?!" I heard an aggressive voice shout through the house, it was so loud, it echoed off the walls, the room was in complete silence and as I turned around to see who it was my whole heart dropped... It was Daniel, with James behind. Something scared me about the facial expression on James' face though, what scared me was that for once it wasn't anger, it was just pure disappointment... And that scared me more than anything.

"It's not what it looks like!" I said in panic

"Isn't it?" Daniel asked in a sarcastic voice

"Isn't it?" Beau then repeated, although his words weren't sarcastic, just hurt.

"I...I...I mean...well...I..." I couldn't find the words, who do I talk to first... My disappointed brother, my angry ex, or my hurt new boyfriend. That decision was made easy though, because both beau and Daniel stormed out the house without another word said, leaving me and James stood at opposite sides of the room looking down towards the floor.

"Look, James"

"Just... Save it!" He replied, before leading himself upstairs and into his room.

I sat down on the couch and just took a massive breath. I had to sort all this out, I'm sick of the constant drama, I want to sort it out with James first, after all he is the only person in this that is actually blood related to me!

I approached James' door, before taking a deep breath and knocking. Either he just ignored me or didn't hear me, his music was blaring through the house and so the only way I was going to get into that room, is if I got in myself. I tried to open it by the handle, on the off chance that it might actually be unlocked, and thank god it was. I slowly opened the door and peered in to see what state he was in. Lucky for me he was just lay down on his bed listening to the music.

"Hey, can I come in?"

"Is there any point in asking, you already are"

"Good." I then turned down the music and sat beside him on the bed.

"Look, I came here to get away from all the drama back home, I don't want to create more here! I want to be close to you and dad, when he is actually in! I've noticed he's never around when drama happens, he must have good instincts! Anyway, what I'm trying to say, is that right now, nothing is more important to me than family, and here, you and dad are the only ones I've got, so please! Can we just forget all about it and start a fresh..."

"..." There was a pause in James' response which means he's thinking about what i said, which is more than what I thought he'd do, so we are making progress!

"Ok, we can start again, take it slow and build up that relationship we had before again, but you have to promise me one thing..."

"Anything, just name it..."

"You can't have a relationship, anything more than friends with any of my mates, I mean it Rebecca! Until me and you are in a better place just stay away in that sense! I'm losing some of my closest friends because of you!"

"Fine, fair enough! I'm just concentrating on me and you for now! And for what it's worth, I'm sorry"

"It's ok! Now we can start a fresh tomorrow, but right now you need to sort things out with Daniel and Beau!"

"True, oh my god, wish me luck! I'm gonna need it!"

"You will be fine Becca! Ill see you later! Text me when your on your way back and we can go out for something to eat!"

"Ok will do! Thanks again James! See you later! Bye"

And with that I kissed him on the cheek and shut the door behind me, now it's just beau and Daniel, well, this should be good! I don't even know why I have to explain myself to Daniel after what he done, but I guess I'm the bigger person. But he comes last, first I need to make it up with beau...

I tried ringing him but it just rang out, so I decided to walk round to his house and see if there was any more look there. However I didn't have to look that far, after about a five minute walk, I found beau... And Daniel for that matter, but I didn't like how I found them...
