It was during Christmas that you announced to your husband Yuuri, that you were carrying his little snowflake in your tummy . Words couldn't express how you both were feeling, he was crying from happiness and you as well. You two have been waiting for this moment for a very long time. For years the two of you have been trying, but only end up with a negative result. You on the other hand were also scared of being pregnant, because you heard some stuff like the mother dying after giving birth and you didn't want that. You wanted to be with your family, to spend time with them, to see your baby take their first steps, and enjoy motherhood.

And now here you are, with a bun in the oven. Yuuri announced to his family as well and they were overjoyed to hear that there will be a little one around, he also announced it to Viktor, and the said figure skater was happy to know that the baby was in your tummy during his birthday and told you both to take it as his blessing and a Christmas present. You laughed, at his statement and thanked him.

It was a very perfect Christmas for you, you were very happy and thankful for everything. You spent your Christmas with your family, Yuuri's family and with your baby inside your tummy.

Things got rough a few months after. You had morning sickness every morning, you felt heavy, had mood swings, and cravings that you never thought you'd have. It was tiring you out, but you had to endure it for the little snowflake that you were carrying. You were lucky to have an understanding husband, he didn't mind your mood swings or cravings. There was a time you lashed out on Yuuri, and apologized to him endlessly for your behavior, but he would just smile and say "It's okay, (Y/N) I know what you're going through isn't easy." He was so sweet and caring despite your behavior, you even thought you didn't deserve him.

He was happy to know that your cravings were more on Pork Cutlet Bowls, and was willing to make them for you. Never in your life have you thought that you'd love pork cutlet bowls this much, and from the looks of it, it seems like your little snowflake is going to take after his father.

There was also a time that you asked Yuuri if you were getting fat, and the poor boy didn't know what to answer. He would sweat drop and get nervous every time you'd ask that and would always think "Alright, I gotta be careful with this, whatever I say will affect her emotionally. I'm dealing with life or death here."

"Yuuri, am I getting too fat?"

"No! No! you're just eating for two, (Y/N)!" He said while nervously waving his hands.

"... So, i'm getting fatter?"

"NO!"

Every time you'd feel that way, he would pull you in a hug and assure you that you are perfect the way you are, and that you don't need to be cautious about your body. He was really caring towards you, even before when you were pregnant, he was just a really down-to-earth-guy and you were thankful to have him in your life.

You would often feel your baby kick, and when you'll tell Yuuri, he'll get excited and touch your tummy waiting for the baby to kick. You both would talk to your baby about things like, how beautiful the snow is, how he's going to be a great ice skater like his daddy, how you love taking a bath in the hot springs, and how everyone was willing to see him. Yuuri loved the baby, and he was going to love it more when it's born. You too were happy, happy to finally have a family of your own, you couldn't wait for your little snowflake to be born.
