Her breath hitched in her throat as they stood either end of the room. It really was him. His eyes meeting hers only made her grasp onto the steel even tighter, she only bled to know she wasn't dreaming, feeling the steel bite at her flesh as the liquid began to run.

"What's the matter sweetheart, did you really think I wouldn't find you?" His voice boomed throughout the room, echoing off the walls. It was a tone that was nothing but taunting to her ears and for her it was like looking at a ghost only this one had a beating heart yet some said he didn't even have that.

She said nothing, only felt the blood make road maps down her fingers. He had taken everything from her, felt his way over her body and suffocated her soul, she ran and she grew but most importantly she learnt.

She wasn't about to run into his arms or give him the satisfaction of seeing fear in her eyes, that feeling of being afraid was so distant to her that it was like an old friend she had not seen in years and yet still she found herself pushing it away.

'I won't be afraid of him, not again!'

These words she recited in her mind over and over again and with no reaction from the women he had been chasing for so long, he finally started his decent. Like a predator to pray his eyes darkened and the closer he got to her, the more he was reminded of a past he had tried to grasp for so long.

The closer he got to her, the more he could make out her features, see her loose curls bounce over her breasts, the rise of her beating chest, her soft skin he longed to touch once again. She engulfed his scences, her sweet perfume, her ocean blue eyes, everything she was.

She was exactly the same as he remembered and still she was different, she was harder and that innocence she once held, he knew was ripped away by the same man he saw each morning in the reflection of the mirror and still he felt no remorse, all he cared about was the fact he didn't have to chase her anymore, he had finally caught her.

She couldn't believe that this time had finally come, he was standing right infront of her, his cologne suffocating her, almost as much as his presence did. He was exactly the same as she remembered, the same tattoos, same amount of muscle and the same dark look in those silver orbs, and just like him she felt no remorse for her actions.

Before he could stop her, she placed the biting steel to his throat, her eyes were so cold as they stared up at him and yet he didn't even flinch, he simply hoped that in someway she wouldn't kill the man she once said 'I love you' too every night, that she wouldn't kill the man who held her close and fed her fiery soul but she wouldn't back down, there was nothing in her eyes but pain and anger, and there was no way in hell he missed her blood covered hands, she was his woman and he knew what she could do.

"You wouldn't dare" his words were as cold as her eyes and she didn't know whether it was a statement or a threat but either way she was holding the knife and if she just let it slip deep enough then she wouldn't have to run .....and still she didn't let it slip to deep, she just pressed it harder against his flesh till he drew blood.

"Don't test me!" That was the voice he missed the most, the tone she would use everytime she was angry, the same tone that made his cock twitch.

He went to put his hands on her but it was too late. She let the steel slip and cut his throat. It was enough to draw blood but not enough to kill and as he stumbled back and placed a hand to his now ruby red throat, she took this as her opportunity to run.

Her chest rose and fell as her feet hit the tile as quick as bullets. She wasn't going back, she would never go back. Her breathe was ragged and for the first time in a long time she remembered how it felt to feel the panic, the slight glimpse of fear and it was all because of him. Her monster.
