Although Takuma didn't want to let his son take such a dangerous path, he knew it was for the best. He knew there was nothing that would stop the stubborn boy from doing what he wants, once he made a decision. Reasons for that is because of Zero, he swears to god that, that child can act just like his mother. From his temper to his stubbornness, all of it were inherited from Zero.

The matter at hand, he will support his son. He will let him be a hunter. Even if he later doesn't want to be one anymore, he will still support him, no matter what. He will always be behind him, ready to guide and give a push. He remembers how small Haruki was when he first met him. Only a small babe, fitting into his arms but now, he's a growing young boy. At the tender age of eight now, he was already preparing for the future.

Takuma could only sigh and hold the body of his sleeping son. He stroked the soft hair that was pressed in his face. "Oh Zero, what am I suppose to do." Was said and left hanging in the air. All he wanted was his son to stay like this, in his arms, to never grow up. To be safe and protected, but he knew good things never last forever. He knew, of course he knew, having experienced it once...

Slowly getting up, he made sure to make as little noise as possible. The vampire got off the bed and stood next to his sleeping son. Brushing the few hairs that were parted, he gave his son a gentle kiss on the forehead and left.

Maid Mary, stood near the door and bowed at him.

"Will you be heading back, sir?"

Takuma only gave a small wave as a sign of no and headed towards his office. Strolling through the halls, Takuma felt a very unpleasant feeling in his gut. Although it did alarm him, he quickly dismissed it as a fluke once he reached the office door. Glancing around, he opened the door and headed in.

The vampire walked towards his desk and turned to take a sit in his armchair. With a hesitant hand, he reached for the phone that laid innocently on his desk. Dialing the numbers of Takamiya and Yagari, he waited for the others to pick up. Quietly, he discussed his son's choice. First Takuma was met with heated disagreement. They at first criticized him, calling him an uncaring father but then they slowly calmed down and apologized. They told him that they will both come to the mansion in a few minutes. Takuma agreed without hesitation and canceled the call.

Waiting for his guests, Takuma began working on some of his paperwork. Skimming through the papers, one caught his eye. It had fallen out of the pile, he picked it up and noticed that it was an envelop. When he held it up, he noticed a familiar stamp on the back. He carefully opened the letter and slowly started examining the paper, a letter. With one look scanning over the content, Takuma felt his heart race. Not only did the content of the letter make him light headed, but also the signature at the bottom on the page, made his blood run cold. Asato Ichijo.

'Shit! Shit!'

It looks like his grandfather finally found him.

Takuma was about to order the maids to start packing up but was stopped in the sight of his guests.

"Takuma-kun, what's going on?"

The vampire was taken aback to see Kaien the Headmaster here. He was also holding a little girl in his arms? The little girl looked up with sleep in her eyes; her eyes glanced around the room before falling on Takuma, who stood stiff like a board. He was about to ask why there was a little girl in Kaien's arms, when she turned away from him. The girl looked to Kaien and Yagari, and pouted.

"Papa, why are we here? You promised you would play with me and Saraki." When the girl said the second sentence, she held up a stuffed unicorn and proceeded to smack it into Yagari's face.
