Beep beep beep

I woke up and shut off my alarm. I yawned and stretched my arms. I looked up at them and counted my scars.

And counting...

I got out of bed and threw on my (f/c) sweatshirt. I never took off my sweat shirt or wore short sleeve shirts in general because I was scared someone would see my scars.

I live in a house with four other people so it is kinda hard to hide them all the time but I mange.

I put my hair up and walked down stairs.

I walked into the kitchen. Edd was sitting at the kitchen table drink some cola. "GoodMorning (y/n)!" He smiled and waved at me.

I waved back. "Morning" I sat down across from him.

He tilted his head. "You ok?"

I faked a smile. "Yeah I'm good!"

He just nodded. "Ok good"

I ate breakfast and eventually decided to get
Ready and do something with my life. I went up stairs and got dressed. I decided I was going to go for a walk.

I walked down stairs and walked outside. I didn't know where I was going but the cool autumn air was so refreshing.

It wasn't long until I heard a familiar voice. "Hey (y/n)!" He called.

I growled "yes, edwardo" I didn't turn around to address him.

"What is a pretty girl like you doing out here all alone..." he smirked and grabbed my arm.

"L-let me go!" I pleaded and tried to pull my arm away.

He didn't let go he just pulled me with him. As much as I struggled it was no use. He pulled me into an alleyway and shoved me up against the wall. Tears were forming in my eyes.

He raised my hands above my head and my sleeve rolled down a bit. He was about to kiss me until he noticed my arm. "Are those...?" He laughed.

"You're so pathetic! You actually CUT yourself?" He kept laughing and let me go.

"Never mind you can go I won't even bother anymore" tears fell down my face as I ran away.

As I ran I heard him yell. "Why don't you just finish the job already!"

As soon as I got home I ran past a shocked Edd and Tom and went straight to my room.

I laid on my bed and cried. I don't even know what just happened but he was right about on thing. I am pathetic. Maybe I should just finish the job. I got up and opened my bottom drawer. I reached to the very back and found my blade. I positioned it above my wrist and...

Slice

I winced. It wasn't enough.

I cut myself again. And again. And again. Until the blood was pooling on the ground. I started to feel a little dizzy.

Then everything went black.

(Edd's point of view)

I knocked on (y/n)'s door. No answer. Maybe I should just leave her alone she seemed pretty upset. I turned around to leave but then...

Thump

What was that? I knocked on her door again. No answer. I tried the handle it was locked. I ran to my room and grabbed a lock pick I had. (Don't ask why I have a lock pick) and I ran back to her door. In a few seconds I had it unlocked.

I threw the door open and I saw her on the ground. Her wrist were bleeding. "(Y/n)!!!" I screamed and ran over to her. I picked her up.

Tears stung my eyes. "No no no no nonono..." I cried and hugged her.

"Please no... (y/n)"

I heard a little whimper and I looked down.     (Y/n) eyes fluttered open. "E-Edd...?" She asked and started coughing.

I smiled and hugged her. "Your ok..." I couldn't believe it. I picked her up bridal style and I laid her down on her bed.

"W-why did you... do this..." I asked and gestured to her arm.

She looked down. "I'm sorry..."

She asked and started crying.

"Sorry? Sorry for what?" I asked and scooted closer to her.

"For being such a mess and always ruining everything and for making you worry about me..." she broke down into a sob.

I pulled her closer to me and hugged her.
"Hey you don't need to be sorry none of those things are true! Why would you think that!"

"Well I've been told that a lot... and... and today when... E-Edwardo... he... um...."

I pulled away and looked her in the eye. "What did he do"

"Well he didn't really do anything... he grabbed me by the arm and pulled me into an alleyway and shoved me up against the wall but then he saw my scars and told me to finish the job... so that's what I was trying to do..." she looked down and covered her face.

He what!? How dare he even touch her. "(Y/n) look at me don't you even listen to him he's wrong you are perfect and smart and beautiful and..." I blushed realizing what I had just said.

"I mean um..."

I looked up and (y/n) face was red and she was smiling. "Y-you really mean that...?" She asked.

I smiled and nodded my head. (Y/n) just grabbed my shirt and kissed me. I was shocked but I kissed back.

I pulled away. "(Y/n) don't you even think you're worthless, because your not to me, understand?" I asked.

She nodded. "I love you Edd..."

"I love you to (y/n)..." I smiled and kissed her again.
