*Unknown POV*

"What do you mean she's gone?" He screamed into the phone.  I pulled it away from my ear, annoyed already at the situation and didn't feel like dealing with his mess.

"Hank, she's just gone, I have no idea what happened!  There's no note, she's not at work, I've scanned the entire forest and drove down every road for an hour but haven't found her.  Her truck is still here but there was broken glass to her bedroom and Zeus is gone."  I answered.  I didn't mention the other animals because he didn't really care.  All he cared about was the main prize, Arie.

"I swear to what every entity you believe in, I will skin you if she isn't found by tomorrow.  She's reached the age a maturity for a werewolf, if she shifts, we won't be able to control her wolf like we have been."  He screamed.  I let out an annoyed sigh while running my fingers through my hair before answering.

"You don't think I don't know that!" I snapped back.  "I have searched everywhere for her, I've called her cell and can't find anything.  You guys are supposed to be her parents, what gave you the idea to leave the house in the middle of the night anyway?"

"One of the sensors we had set up around the perimeter earlier that night had gone off and we both went out trying to figure out what it was.  She knows better than to disrespect us so when we find her, she knows that she's going to get punished.  She thinks that we don't notice she uses the same excuse to get out of going on a hunt.  We ask so it doesn't seem suspicious why we don't take her along.  If she's around her own kind, it will cause her wolf to want to come forward and we cannot have that happen.  We need to find her immediately, she's the only tie we have to the amulet."

"Do you think I'm stupid? I went through the same training you did.  She was your responsibility, the Boss is not going to be happy if he finds out that she's gone." I said with a snap, a grin spreading on my face.  Claire and Hank managed to grab her solely by chance, she should have been mine.  Instead of those two distracting the royal guards, they snuck in while we attacked and grabbed her before coming back here.  "By the way, what's Claire doing?" I asked.

"How would I know? She was on her way to England last I heard.  The Boss got word that the royal family was out of their guarded walls and in California.  She's was sent to England to try and find the amulet in their home while the guard followed the family."  Hank said.

"Why would they be in California?" I asked before it dawned on me.  "Isn't Lance's pack one of the most powerful trackers? Could they be looking for Arie still?" I asked him.

"It's been over 20 years, any chance of them finding her should be long gone." He said.

"There would be no other reason for them to come to the United States, let alone go to California unless they believed that there is a chance that they can find their long lost daughter.  Azra is our biggest issue, a wolf can always find it's twin if it can catch even the slightest trace of them, no matter how long they've been apart.  If anyone so much as spoke to her and went to California while the family is there she would be able to smell her on them." I said.

"I know, but we control everyone who comes in and out of the town.  This is why we contacted that vet office because she can NOT go to California.  That makes it easier for the trackers to find her, we need to keep her here, if it's the last thing we do." He exclaimed.

"Well, someone lost her and now we can't find her." I said with a sass.  My temper was raising and I had to take a deep breath so I didn't shift.  I couldn't expose myself in front of humans.

"Did you call her?" He asked.  I could practically see him pacing as he tried to figure out where she had gone.

"Oh, never thought of that." I sassed, "of course I called her dumbass, I've already told you that if you'd listen, her phone is sitting on her night stand." I snapped.  "Oh, and do you want more news?" I asked.  I hope the Boss tears them a new one.  He trusted them with two of our most important items and they've lost both of them.

"What?" He said with an annoyed sigh.  He had no right to be annoyed, he was the one that put himself into this situation.  Damn fools they were, they knew better than to leave her alone for that long of a time, I'm shocked she didn't skip town on her own while they were away on a hunting trip.

"The wolf is gone as well." I said while I messed with the pencils that were sitting on the desk.  Thankfully the office phone hadn't rung yet, but I also wish it would just so I could get off the phone with Hank.

"WHAT?!?!" He screamed.  I pulled the phone further from my ear trying to prevent him from affecting my hearing.  With my sensitive hearing slightest in changes of pitch can cause detrimental issues with my hearing and this ass doesn't care.  I rubbed my left ear while switching the phone to my right hand to hold it to my right ear, giving my poor left ear drum a break.

"Yeah, so not only did you lose our only tie to the royal family, you also lost a werewolf that we needed to work the spell."  I smiled, I couldn't wait for the Boss to hear about this.  At that moment, he walked through the door.  "Sorry Hank, the Boss is back, I'll talk to you later." I said sweetly with a smile, "happy hunting."  I swiped across my phone, ending the call before looking up.

"Morning Mike, how are you?" I asked.  He was dressed in khaki pants with a royal blue polo shirt.  To anyone else, it would look like he just got back from golfing but it was all a facade so that any normal human wouldn't suspect anything but other hunters would immediately recognize him by the crest on the polo shirt.  Hunters usually worked in groups and had a crest to indicate which group they belonged to.  Ours was a purple shield with a red pointed dash in the center, a white jaguar over it.  Under it on a gold ribbon that said "Silver Jaguar".  The purple signified our viciousness and the red indicated our warriors.  The jaguar expressed valor and silver is deadly to werewolves.

"I'm doing well Susan, but by that look, it seems like we have a big issue on our hands."  Mike said with his hands clasped in front of him, the florescent lighting catching on his silver ring with a blood stone in the center.

"That we do," I said, about to continue with the phone rang, "I will inform you after I take this call."  I said.  He nodded before lifting the trap door in the floor and heading down to his office.  I carefully picked up the phone after he closed the trap door.

"Wild for Animals wild or pets rescue shelter, this is Susan speaking, how may I help you?" I said as I picked up a pen.

Don't worry Arie, we will find you and bring you home.
