Chapter 3:Saturday

You wake up the next day it is Saturday. You look around the room, Ponyboy and Soda are not in the room so one of them must be making breakfast. You walk into kitchen Ponyboy is making breakfast, Darry and Soda are at the table waiting for Ponyboy to make their food. Then you go to the bathroom to clean and change you bandage on your arm. When you walk out of the bathroom Darry sees you and says "Hey CityGirl do ya feel better?" " My arm still hurt" you answer quietly. Soda walks up to you and doesn't say anything he just gives you a hug and sits back down but as you walk Soda says "I love you" in a brotherly way than you say "I love you more". You see Ponyboy in the kitchen making breakfast, you walk up to him and he starts to talk "Hey cutie how are you" he said lovingly. You sighed "I am ok, how are you". "I was ok but now I am better that you are up" he said in a cute way you were trying not to blush, then he asked you what you want to eat you didn't want eggs so you got a slice of chocolate cake we always have chocolate cake in the ice box. Luckily you got to the cake before Steve, Steve usually eats all the cake in the house before anyone could get to it, so you took a slice of cake and sat down next to Soda. Soda starts to talk "CityGirl I am so sorry that a Socs cut you I promise you that will never happen again" he started to tear up so he wipe his tears away and said"you, Pony, and Johnny can come down to DX and hangout for a while you will be safe with me, Steve, Johnny, and Ponyboy, ok?" you agreed that going to the gas station was a good idea so you, Johnny, and Pony decided to go at 1 o'clock. A few minutes pass Darry stary walk out the door to go to work and Soda started to walk out the door to work but stops and says "See you at one ok?" You say "Yes now hurry or you will be late" he closed the door and left. It was 8:25 in the morning so you had about three hours until you had to go to DX. So you walk into the living room where Ponyboy, Dally, Johnny, and Two-bit were watching T.V. there was no room to sit and watch the T.V. so you started to walk away but Ponyboy stoped you and said "Do you want to watch Mickey Mouse with us?" you responded and said "sure" so he went and got you a chair from the kitchen and you sat down on the chair that was next to Ponyboy. You leaned over and kissed Pony on the cheek and said " Thanks you" for getting you a chair. After you kisses Ponyboy's cheek his face turned red and the other boys started to laugh, you laugh too Ponyboy was embarrassed but he didn't care because you had kissed him. A few hours pass by it was time to go meet Soda at the DX. As you walk down to the DX with Pony and Johnny, Pony is holding your hand very tight because he really cares about you. You see a group of Socs but just yell at us in a taunting way "Dumb Greasers, go get a job losers". You looked at Pony he was looking at you and smiled "Pony" you said "Yeah City", he replied. "Why did you chose me there are so many other girls and..." he cut you off you were starting to cry, he took your hands in his and said "There are so many other boys and you chose me. You are the only one for me no one will ever be as wonderful as you, so please don't be so hard on yourself" as he wiped away your tears. You shook your head and said "Ok" then you kissed him softly, his face became red again. After you were done freaking out about Ponyboy not loving you, you turned to see Johnny walking awkwardly behind you then you said "Johnny I am sorry you had to listen to me be all weird and stupid. Then Johnny said in a joking way "Don't be sorry it's I know you two have been waiting to be together it is ok. As you, Ponyboy, and Johnny walk up to DX Soda is working on a car when he sees you he drops his tools and run over to you and hugs you. He starts to talk in a worried way "Are you ok? Did anyone hurt you? Did someone give you a hard time? If they do I make sure that the never walk again" he starts to cry. You wipe his eyes and tell him "I am fine I had my big tough boyfriend and his strong best friend" you and Soda laugh. Pony and Johnny faces turned red and Pony kissed you as he hug you. A few boys walk in and start flirting with you and Soda over hear and dropped his tools, walked over and said "You leave her alone now" they didn't listen to him that made him infuriated but a customer was bothering him so he had to walk away.Then Ponyboy said in a deep voice "Leave her the hell alone or so help me.." you cut him off by kissing him. The guys hitting on you walk away and said me maybe next time babe, Soda looked like he was going to punch them all in the face so hard to make sure that they never bother you again. You told him you were ok after that he kept an eye on you and he got back to work.You and the guys stay at DX until Soda's shift is over. You were walking home and you saw a familiar car then the group of Socs that had jumped you before were back. They got out of the car and Soda start to scream at them to leave us alone. The Socs grabbed you into the car and drove away you saw Steve, Ponyboy, Johnny,and Soda were running after the car then all of a sudden one of the Socs knocked you out cold.
