This is a story about a city boy named Parker, who moves to the little town of Gonning Colorado, and falls for a 'broken' country girl named Elena. What Parker doesn't know though is that Elena has been through more than any 16yr. old should have to. Being a Junior at a new school throws new challenges for Parker. Although he becomes a 'popular' fast, apparently it isn't cool to like people like Elena.
