The Picnic

Anna was having a picnic with her mom and dad. Their family was a family of three. Today was a sunny day, and her parents didn't have work today. So they decided to take a fun trip. Anna wanted to have a picnic since she had never had one before.

At the park, the family sat on a bench. There was no one near them. They had parked their car far away. The bench was near a large forest. There were many noises coming from the forest. But that was the only bench so they sat there anyway.

"Mommy! Can you get the peanut butter jelly sandwiches?"

"Okay honey!" Anna's mom pulled out the peanut butter jelly sandwiches and gave them to Anna and the dad. Suddenly, there was a large noise.

They all slowly turned around and saw a huge bear. Bears weren't very common in this area. They had never seen a bear. They stayed very still.

"Is that peanut butter?" The bear said.

"Uhhh..."

"I said, is that peanut butter?" He growled threateningly.

"Yes yes do you want some?" Anna said. Her mom glared at Anna. They didn't want to share their peanut butter. But Anna was very scared.

"Yeah I need some. I ran out. We need some for the BearBowl!" The bear replied.

"The what?" Mom asked.

"Oh yeah you humans call it SuperBowl. Pshhh BearBowl is much better. Anyways, peanut butter?" Mom reluctantly handed over some peanut butter jelly sandwiches.

"Is that JELLY???" The bear asked.

"Yeah so what?" Dad replied.

"Ewwwww. Jelly is gross. I want peanut butter and only peanut butter."

"We only have peanut butter and jelly." Mom said.

"Ugh I'm going to have to go terrorize some kitchen. Okay bye." The bear waved and walked off. Then Mom smiled at Anna and Dad and pulled out peanut butter from her bag. They all laughed and finished their picnic.

When they were driving home, they saw the bear again. The bear looked mad. Dad stopped the car.

"What's wrong?" Dad asked. "Do you need a lift back to the forest?"

"YOU HAVE PEANUT BUTTER! YOU LIED TO ME! HOW COULD YOU? I TRUSTED YOU!" The bear screamed. Mom looked at her bag in guilt and then pulled out the peanut butter. She slowly gave the peanut butter to the bear.

"I'm sorry" she said.

"It's okay. I forgive you. Hey do you want to come to the BearBowl?"

"SURE!" Anna said. Then, the bear got in the car and they all went back to the forest. They went into the forest and Anna, Mom, and Dad discovered the BearWorld. They watched the BearBowl, which was lots of fun. Then, they all said goodbye to the bear and all his friends and promised them that they would come back and then left.
