FFXV: A IgnisXFemale Reader: Fate Takes Hold

Chapter One: Let the story begin

"Sweetheart your dinner is ready" Your mother called you from the door of the house, you were in the small garden outside of the house checking on the vegetables. "Yes mom, coming" You stand up and brush off your skirt a little and walked inside for what mom prepared for you. You smile as you see your favorite meal Lasagna Al Forno. "Looks great mom!" You sit down and pick up the fork, cutting a little bit of it off. But before it reached your mouth there was a noisy sound outside of the house, both you and your mother questioned the noise, your mother got up to go investigate but she didn't even take a step before shots rang through the air and the window's shattered, glass scattering everywhere. "GET DOWN (NAME)!" She shouted out you. Your heart's heart beat shot up quickly, you screamed a bit and hit the floor, shaking with fear of what's going on. "Crawl to the back... go!"

Your eyes tear up. "What about you?!" Your mother had fear and sadness in her eyes. "Get going (Name)! Go!" You shake your head a little but start to move through the house, trying to avoid the bullets as they flew into the house, you only get niked here and their, your mom behind you but getting the worst the bullets. As you almost reach the end of the house a imperial soldier busts inside the house, making you and your mother jump and hearts racing like crazy, you felt like you could get sick right there. The soldier quickly takes a hold of your mothers head and lifts her up from the ground, you can hear her screaming and crying, not being able to fight back. You look back and see the terrible site. "MOM!" You shout as you stand up, she cries out to you.

"No!! RUN! Get out of here!! Leave (Name)! Live!" Tears were running down her face but soon were not visible when the soldier bashed her head into the wall. Your body wanted to freeze, you didn't want to run but something inside you told you to move, so you did so. You ran out the back of the house, tears running down your face as you look back at the terror that you knew your mom was long and dead by now, but why?......

It didn't take long for the imperials to notice that /you/ took off and went right after you. The heart in your body was pumping so fast, the adrenaline was pumping through your vines, you had to live. It felt like you had to live and you didn't know why, you could easily just let the imperials kill you. You see a road up ahead but don't think twice of the traffic that could pass on it, it was do or die at this point. As you jumped the railing a large hunk of metal hit you and sent you flying.

(A few minutes before fate took hold)

"Man....I can't wait to see Cindy again—Think she's single you guys?" Noctis lightly rolls his eyes at Prompto's obvious attraction towards Cindy "I don't know, I mean she is really dedicated to her work it looks like." Prompto's eyes beam a little at that comment. "So that means she is possible single?!" Noct shakes his a little and lets out a soft sigh. "Only in your dreams lover boy." Prompto makes a little noise in protest to Nocts comment. Gladio decides to put in a word as well. "I think you should focus on getting Princy boy here to his own lover before you start chasing after your's." Ignis stays silent on the little banter going on in the car, silently amused by it. After a second of a smile on his face his eyes catch something, he quickly hits the brakes and tries to turn the car away from you. "HOLD ON!" He shouts, the car screeches on the pavement and everyone in the car is holding on for their dear life.

You are sent flying across the road, the car hits you a full force. You roll a few times before you come to a complete stop on the road. Ignis and the others look at what they just hit, Ignis being the first one out of the car and running over to you, then Noctis and the others spot the soldiers. "Ignis!" Noct shots. "Get that person to safety, we will take care of these guys!!" Ignis nods and gently picks you up, but you make a very discomforting sound as he does so, one of your arms have broken from the force of the car hitting you. "I know..." He speaks in a comforting voice to you as he starts to walk fast and away from the fighting. "I will tend to you once we are far enough from the fight." Your eyes were closed cause of the major pain you were in but still fully aware of what was going on, at least a little bit. As soon as Ignis got you both far away enough he gently sat you against a tree and looked your body over, seeing some wounds here and there, he assumed right away it was from the soldiers. "Alright.... can you tell me where you hurt the most?"
