Chapter 5

RYDEL'S POV

Flashback to an hour earlier

I am so excited for swimming with the new neighbors! I think I will become very good friends with Ashley and Emily. They both seem really cool and I have always wanted to be friends with a fan. When we got back in the house, I followed behind Ross to his room and before he could close the door, I put my foot in the way of the door and let myself in.

I just came out and said it, "Dude, I know you like her." Then Ross said, "What? Why would you think that? I just want more friends and I think James is really cool!" Then I said, "His name is Chase and I know you like her. I can see it in your eyes. Anyway, I'm going to go change. See you later bro." I left the room and headed to my room. Before I made it to my room, I got dragged into another room by Riker.

"So how were the neighbors? Did they have any kids our age? What were they like? How old is the girl we saw outside?" he asked very suddenly. Then I answered, "They were great. There are 2 girls and a guy but I forgot how old they are. They are around our age. They are a very nice family and are coming over in an hour to have a pool party. And what is with all the questions?" He then replied, "Sorry, and yeah! I am excited for them to come. That girl we saw outside was pretty cute." I instantly said, "Sorry dude but I think Ross has got dibs. He likes her you can just see it in his face when he sees her."

With that, I walked out of his room and went into my room to get changed. I changed into my hello kitty bikini and put on a cute pink sundress and my darth vader slippers. They may be slippery but they actually kind of go with my dress. Ok maybe not really but I love them. I put my hair into a high ponytail and put on a headband and went down to sit on the couch and wait for Ashley and her family.

ROSS' POV

After Delly left my room, I literally blushed for so long and laid on my bed to think. I put on my iPod and thought for about 20 minutes. Ash is just so beautiful and it was so cute when she fangirled about seeing us. I honestly love when fans do that cause it just makes me feel good. I hope no one else decides to call her Ash because I want that name for me only and it could be something special. I would be ok with my family calling her that though. It wouldn't bother me that much. Ok this is stupid I realized then I started thinking, "Am I falling in love with Ash?"
