"You know, this really isn't a good idea." I say.

"Yeah, but we are doing it anyways, aren't we?" She replies with a smirk. She has always been one to push the limits. So, now I'm on babysitting duty, by keeping her in check.

"Hurry up already." She whispers. After sneaking around for what felt like hours, we finally made it to our classroom. She hurried over to the teacher's desk and peered in one of the drawers. I sighed and decided to walk over to her, well more like crawl. We both started searching through the drawers, being careful not to make too much noise. Finally I found it. I took a piece of paper out of the drawer and showed it to Kylie.

"This is it." i told her. She grabbed the paper from my hands and took in a sigh of relief. Kylie than took a pencil from the cup on the desk and started erasing some words on the paper. She put the pencil back and the paper back in the drawer.

"Now lets get out of here." I whisper. I'm not taking the chance, that someone could still be here. I closed the drawer and went out the door, with Kylie close behind. We got out of the building quickly, and went in Kylie's car, around the back of the school. She started up the car, and she drove out onto the road. After awhile I started to get very anxious.

"Um Kylie..?" I ask hesitantly. She turned to me briefly, than back on the road.

"Yes?" She replied.

"Now can you tell me what the paper is about? Why did you have to change what was on it?"

"I suppose I can tell you, but you cant tell anyone, got it?"

"Yeah of course."

"Well I was passing notes around the class, and the teacher caught us. What was on it, would have gotten me in trouble. So since she hadn't read it, I thought I could change it."

"Oh.." I didn't know she got in trouble, although I figured it was something like that, since we did have to break into school. But luckily, the school had some renovations a little while ago, so the security cameras weren't working. As long as we didn't bump into any teachers we would've been fine.

"Well, at least we didn't get caught!" I said cheerfully to lighten the mood."

"yeah, thanks to you being so over-protective, Lucy!" she gave me a bright smile, which calmed my nerves down a little bit. I stuck my tongue out at her. The car ride home was quick, once we started talking. She dropped me off at my apartment. I waved as she left down the driveway. I headed back into my apartment and quickly went to sleep. I had school in the morning and so I wanted as much sleep as I could get. The morning came quickly. My alarm blared, giving me a headache. I turned off my alarm clock and started to get ready. I skipped breakfast, and went straight outside. My car was in the shop and so I had to walk to school. I walked slowly, taking in the scenery. My walk to school finished, almost as soon as it started. I quickly walked through the school doors. A bright pair of blue eyes came running up to me.

"Hey Kylie." I waved slightly. She responded with a smile. Kylie had always been very popular, but she always seemed to make time for someone like me, who wasn't as popular. Really, not popular at all. She linked arms with me and started talking her heart out. I don't think she expects me to respond, she just likes to talk. We have most of the same classes and so we always walk together. Its always fun though.
