Scarlett's POV.

Things are never as the seem. Fake smiles seem real to throw off people to keep hiding the pain, because showing the pain is never an option in reality.

Telling some one of the pains and struggles you go through is now considered attention seeking, coming up with lies to get a spot in the spot light. But sometimes, there's those little times were we are telling the truth, no matter our back ground, or where we come from....

But there's one thing about actions.. actions cause rumours cause pain..

And above all..

Rumours hurt like a bitch...

Flash back::

"I'm so sorry!" I look up from where my books are sprawled across the hallway floor. Meeting the eyes of the one and only, high school star. Jackson Johnson. Captain of the basketball, captain of the football team. The classic jock. The one everyone loves... well except for me.

"It's fine." I smile lightly and crouch down to grab my books.

Of course my smile was real then..

"Let me help you." He goes to crouch down to help and smiles at me. His award winning smile that has girls falling at his feet.

I sadly had been one of those girls at the time.

"It's fine really.." I stack my books onto my jean clad legs. I grab the book from his hands and stand up shift my shoulder bag.

"Jackson" he says holding out his hand. I chuckle and run my hair through my long brown hair. I look over at him and get trapped in his brown eyes. I shake my head and grasp his hand and shake it before letting go.

"Oh, I know. I'm pretty sure everyone knows who you are." His eyes widen at my remark before he recovers smirking running his hands through his hair.

"Sassy. I like it." I shake my head and smirk before turn on the heel of my boots and walking the other way. "I never caught your name!" I turn around but keep walking. I hug my text books to my chest.

"I never told you." I wink and smirk as his basketball buddies clap him on the shoulders and laugh at his shock face. I shake my head and turn the other way, I push open the doors to the parking lot  being blinded by the sun...
