Chapter 11

(Saturday)
*Spencer POV*
Today's the wedding and us guys stayed at my place while the girls stayed at Joey's and Jewel's. However, we had to drag Joey out of his house cause both of the little ones were staying there and he didn't want to leave them.
"Chad, Caleb, Joey won't wake up" I yell
"I'll bring the pitcher of water" Chad yells back
All of a sudden Joey shoots up and hits his head against mine.
"Spencer" he groans
"Joey that hurt" I whine
He lays back down and holds his head. We hear footsteps and Caleb walks in.
"You two ok" Caleb asks
"No" Joey says
"Yes" I say
"Spencer go downstairs and eat breakfast. Chad has it ready" Caleb says
I go downstairs and to my kitchen. I get down there and Kyle is getting a plate together for Hudson.
"Is Emmett still asleep" I ask
"Caleb fed him some breakfast then put him back down" Chad says
I nod and sit down. Chad puts a plate of food in front of me and I start eating. A couple minutes later Caleb comes downstairs.
"Where's Joey" Chad asks
"Upstairs sleeping trying to get rid of the headache someone caused him" Caleb says
"It's Chad's fault he yelled about the water" I say
"You asked for help and I helped. You were holding your head right above his." Chad says
"Yeah. How did you not get hurt" Kyle asks
"I've got a hard head" I say
All of a sudden my phone rings. I look and see it's Jewel.
S-hey Jewel
J-Spencer why isn't my husband picking up his phone
S-he's asleep
J-why? You guys are suppose to be heading over to the church
S-well he wasn't waking up and I sort of was leaning over him when Chad yelled up the stairs and  he shot up and his head collided with mine. He has a headache.
J-Spencer Kane you are in so much trouble
S-don't kill me
J-I won't. Yet
I hang up and Chad looks at me.
"Mexican 1 attacking you" Chad asks
"Yeah" I say
"Guys we better leave for the church" Alan says
"Ok. Wait when did you show up" I ask
"Just now. Remember you asked me to go pick up the tuxes" Alan says
"I'm going to wake Joey up" Caleb says
I nod and he goes upstairs. Soon after they walk in and Joey is tripping over his own feet.
"Sorry about earlier" I say
"It's fine" Joey mumbles
He's sits down at the table and quickly eats breakfast. I pick Emmett up from the pack n play and we head out. We get in Alan's van and drive to the church. We get there and go to the room. We then start getting ready for the wedding.
"Joey" I say
"Yeah" he asks
"Is my tie ok" I ask
"For the fifth time Spencer it's fine. Stop worrying. You don't need to panic" he says
"But" I start
"No buts. She loves you. You love her. You're both annoying. You're perfect for each other."he says
"Alright" I sigh
There's a knock at the door and Chad goes over and answers it.
"Spence it's your parents" Chad says
"Let them in" I say
"I'm going to go see how the girls are doing" Joey says
"We'll wait in the hall" Kyle says
The guys walk out and my parents walk in.
"Oh Spencer you look so handsome" my mom chokes out
"Mom don't start crying now" I say
"Spencer she cried when you were born. She cried when you went to school for the first time. She cried when you started your solo project. She cried when you joined Anthem light. She's always been crying no matter what you do. She's always proud of you" my dad says
"We're both proud of you" my mom says
*Sophie POV*
Us girls are in our designated room when there's a knock at the door.
"Who is it" Kelsey G yells
"The husbands" Joey yells
"Come in" Fallon says
"How do you know Spencer's not with them" I ask
"Because. He said husbands. Spence isn't your husband yet" Jewel says
The door opens and the 5 guys walk through.
"Did you leave Spence alone" Brycie asks
"No. His parents are with him" Caleb says
"You ok there sof" Joey asks
"I'm just thinking" I say
"We'll stop thinking. The more you and Spencer think about what's happening today the more worried you get. He asked me about his tie five times. There's no need to worry you both love each other and if Spencer isn't at the alter when you get down there I'm gonna kick his butt all the way back to Indiana" Joey says
"Thanks Joey" I say
"No problem" he says
"Hey it's time for the wedding to start" Spencer's dad says from outside the door. Everyone walks out and gets to their spot. I get in the back of the line and Joey stands next to me.
"I'm proud of you Sofia Estrella Ortega Hernandez" he says
"Thank you Joey. Can you please tell me your middle name now" I ask
"Nope" he smiles
"I hate you" I grumble
"Love you too" he says
Eventually it's my turn to walk down the aisle. Joey and I walk through the doors and my eyes instantly fall on Spencer. He turns and looks at me and smiles. Joey and I reach to the front and the two guys bro hugs. Spencer then takes my hand and I walk up to him.
"You look beautiful" He whispers
"Are you sure" I ask
"Positive" he replies
"When you look quite dapper" I say
"Oh why thank you" he says
"Are you two even paying attention" Jewel asks
"When do they ever pay attention" Chad asks
"Sorry we were having a very important conversation" I say
"No you weren't" Joey says
"Joseph Patrick stamper can't you be quiet for five minutes please" Spencer asks
"Patrick. That's your middle name. Patrick" I say
"Spence Hess Kane you're gonna regret that. Especially after what you did to me this morning" Joey says
"Spencer what did you do to Joey" I ask
"Uh well let's just say he'll have a really bad head ache when he wakes up tomorrow" Spencer says
"I already have a bad head ache" I hear Joey mumble quietly
"Nǐ quèdìng nǐ hái hǎo ma? Nǐ xūyào zuò ma? (Are you sure you're okay? Do you need to sit?)" I ask
"Wǒ hěn hǎo. Zhè shì nǐ de tèbié de rìzi. (I'm fine. This is your special day.)" he responds
I shake my head and start paying attention to my wedding.
"Do you Spencer Hess Kane take Estrella Sofia Ortega Hernandez to be your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live" pastor Doug says
"I do" Spencer says
"Estrella Sofia Ortega Hernandez do you take Spencer Hess Kane to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live" pastor Doug asks 
"I do" I say
"You may now kiss the bride" pastor Doug says
Spencer leans in and kisses me. I kiss back of course. We pull away and everyone claps.
"Are there going to be anymore last minute weddings with you folks" pastor Doug asks
"Not for a while. I mean AJ is only 8" Joey says
"Joseph zip it" Spencer says
"Yeah Joseph Patrick Stamper" I say
"Patrick isn't my middle name" Joey says
"Joseph" Alan scolds
"What" Joey whines
"Number nine" Alan says
"What does he mean by no sharpies in the bedrooms" I ask
"Not my rules you doofus" Joey says
"Which ones then" I ask
"The ten commandments baby" Spencer says
"Oh ok" I say
We all leave and go to where the reception is and hang out and talk more.
"I have an announcement" Chad says
"What" Jewel asks
"Well since next Sunday is Christmas we aren't leaving for tour until after Christmas" Chad says
"Yay. I get more time with my sister" Joey says
"Awe that's adorable" I gush
"Well she is adorable" Joey says
"That is true" Fallon says
"Can't y'all just be quiet" Jewel asked
"Someone has their panties in a twist" I say
"I'd think Joey would be the grumpy one since he has the head ache and everything" Gabby says
"What how did you know" I ask
"She knows what language we were speaking" Joey says
"What language was it" Chad asks
"You're never going to find out" I say
"Ok. Time for Spencer and Sofie's first dance. The original members of Anthem Lights will be singing Can't Get Over You" Alan says
"What did Joey get kicked out" Spencer asks
"They decided this while Jewel and I were away" Joey says
"He'd just crowd the space" Kyle says
"I've never liked you Kyle. I'm trying really hard to like it but you're making it harder" Joey jokes
"Can we just sing please" Caleb begs
"What's wrong babe. Is it pass your bedtime" Kelsey G asks
"Yes. Hudson also thought it'd be fun to jump on Kyle and I at 6 in the morning" Caleb says
"Why did he jump on the both of you" Kelsey K asks
"We had to sleep in the floor. Joey got the guest room and Chad got the couch" Kyle says
"Can you guys please just zip it and sing" Spencer asks
"Yeah please" I say
"Fine fine" Alan says
They sing the song and Spencer and I share our first dance as a married couple. We finish and Joey comes over to us.
"Instead of a daddy daughter dance how about a best friend dance" he asks
"Awe thanks for offering Joey" Spencer says
"Not you dumbledorf. I was talking to my best friend" Joey says
"Rude" Spencer scoffs
"I'd be honored to" I say
He takes my hand and the guys start singing the 2014 k-love mashup.
"Are you sure you're ok" I ask
"Of course. Now stop worrying about me. This is your special day" he says
"Joey I'll always worry about you. You're my best friend. You took me in when I came here and all you knew was that I was related to your wife." I say
"Yeah well you're crazy like her." He says
"Well then" I say
The song ends and we both walk over
to my sister who is holding a sleeping Carter and is trying to calm Katy down.
Joey takes Katy and walks away.
"He's such a good father and brother" I say
"He is. He really is. He's also a great uncle" Jewel says
"Has Katy started talking yet" I ask
"No. She's only five months old" She says
"So. You started talking when you were seven months old" I say
"I'm just special" she says
"That you are Jewel. That you are" Chad says
Jewel passes Carter over to Gabby and we both walk over to Chad.
"Chadwick I'd run for your life" Caleb says
"Already on it" Chad says
Jewel and I take our heels off and run after Chad. We finally catch up to him and grab his arms to stop him. He stops but tries to keep moving. We let go and he flies forward into the grass. Jewel and I high five then go in.
"Where's Chad at" Joey asks
"Outside in the grass" I say
"Why" Spencer asks
"We just kicked butt" Jewel says
"Where's your sister" I ask
"My dad and Mom have Katy and Carter. Apparently they want to watch them for a bit because they don't have any grandparents yet" Spencer says
"Your parents can be a set of grandparents for Carter if they want" Jewel suggests
"We'd love to" we hear
"Mom why are you always creeping up" Spencer asks
"Spencer Hess Kane that is no way to treat your Mom. She loves you very much and has always been there for you" Joey scolds
"Thank you Joseph" mama Kane says
"Your welcome" Joey smiles
"Joe we better head out and put the kids to bed" Jewel says
"Ok." Joey says
Joey takes Carter in his arms and jewel takes Katy.
"Bye everyone" Joey says
"See ya Stampers" we all say
"Well Spence your father and I are going to head out as well" his mom says
"Bye mama and dad" Spencer says
"See you later Spence. Take care Sofie" his dad says
They leave and so do the kupeckys and Powells.
"So when are you two going on the honey moon" Chad asks
"We leave tomorrow afternoon after church" I say
"Can I sleep over" Trinity asks
"You gotta ask Chad." Spencer says
"Can I daddy? Can I please" Trinity asks
"Hmm I don't know" Chad says
"Please? I cleaned my room yesterday and I was nice and I said please" she says
"Woah Chad she just gave you a triple threat" Fallon says
"Ok fine. You can go" Chad says
Trinity cheers and Spencer picks her up. We all walk outside and we go get in Spencer's car. We get to his apartment and Spencer takes Trinity up to the guest room. He comes back downstairs twenty minutes later.
"I had to sing the frozen medley to her" Spencer says
"Of course you did" I laugh
He sits down next to me on the couch and turns on the tv. He goes on Netflix and turns on Courageous. Once the movie ends we go upstairs to bed. I lay in bed and fall asleep.
