Beginning:
Jolly Roger- Sixteen Years Ago
A young man and woman rush onto a ship, the man being helped by the lady. Both of them are dressed like pirates, as well as everyone else on the ship. The woman's hair is a dark brown with gray eyes, while the man's hair is black with blue eyes. The man is clearly limping as the woman supports him; everyone around them are yelling. "Move it out!" One of them yells out. "Milah, what happened?" Another one asks the lady. Instead of answering, she just responds by yelling at them to get some water. "Get the Captain water!" Another one of the crew members yells out, "And get me that prisoner from below deck along with the booty he carried. Now!" Milah yells out at them, "Bring up the prisoner!" another crew member yells out.
Suddenly, a man appears on the deck, causing Milah to tense up. "Well, well, seems like you finally found the family you could never have with me." He tells Milah, walking around in the process and shares a glance at Milah; then turns away. One of the crew members pushes the trader up the stairs from below the deck, "All right, get your sorry arse up there." the crew member tells him as he hands Milah something, and she walks off, but is soon stopped by the man.
Lifting the item, she shows the man it is a magic bean. Reaching for it, Milah tosses it to the pirate from earlier, Captain Killian Jones. "You asked to see it, and now you have." Killian tells him, and then holding it more tightly, "Do we have a deal? Can we go our separate ways?" Milah asks the strange man, Rumplestiltskin. Rumplestiltskin just walks around the deck as he speaks, "Do you mean, do I forgive you? Can I move on? Perhaps. Perhaps. I can see you are truly in love." he tells her. Milah looks almost happy, "Thank you." she tells him as she walks towards Killian, "Just one question." Rumplestiltskin tells her, causing her to stop in her tracks, and turn around, so she was facing him yet again, "What do you want to know?" she asks him. "How could you leave Bae?" He asks her, causing a rope to fly out, as Milah looks to be steaming with anger; more ropes continue to fly up, "Do you know what it was like walking home that night..." he asks her. "Rumple..." She asks in anger, though he ignores her, "...knowing I had to tell our son..." Rumplestiltskin continues, "Please." Milah tells him, though he continues to ignore her, "...that his mother was dead?" he concludes.
Milah looks to be holding in her anger, "I was wrong to lie to you. I was the coward. I knew that." she tells him, though he rudely interrupts her. "You left him! You abandoned him!" He shouts out at her in an anger tone, as Milah still attempts to keep her anger in check, "And there's not a day that goes by that I don't feel sorry for that." she tells him. Though, this just causes Rumplestiltskin to yell even louder and angrier, "Sorry isn't enough!" he yells at her, then in an almost calmer tone, he moves closer to her, "You let him go." he tells her. Though Milah tries to keep a calmer tone, "I let my misery cloud my judgment." she tells him, "Why were you so miserable?" he spits out at her. "Because I never loved you." Milah finally spits out at him, all the anger unleashed; as all of them stare each other off. Then Rumplestiltskin suddenly, sticks his hand into her chest to pull her heart out, freezing her in the process. "Stop!" Killian Jones calls out as he tries to stop him, but Rumplestiltskin easily flings him against the mast, ropes tying him up. The pain is clear in Lilah's eyes, though Rumplestiltskin looks to be enjoying her pain as he takes out her heart. "No!" Jones yells out as he finally frees himself and rushes to catch Milah, just as she falls down to the deck.
She reaches her fingers to his face, "I love you." she tells Jones as Rumplestiltskin squeezes her heart, making her gasp in pain and then pulverizes her heart into dust as she dies in Jones's arms. "No." Killian mumbles, then looks up at Rumplestiltskin, "You may be more powerful now, demon, but you're no less a coward." he tells him in a seething tone, standing back up. "I'll have what I came for now." Rumplestiltskin tells him, You'll have to kill me first." Killian tells him, with teeth gritted, "Ah-ah! I'm afraid that's not in the cards for you, sonny boy." Rumplestiltskin tells him. Pulling out a sword, he cuts off Killian's left hand and falls to the ground in pain.
"I want you alive because I want you to suffer like I did." Rumplestiltskin tells him as he turns to walk away. Without a moment's hesitation, Killian grabs a hook, driving it into Rumplestiltskin chest. "Killing me is gonna take a lot more than that, dearie." He tells him, "Even demons can be killed. I will find a way." Killian tells him with determination in his tone. "Well, good luck living long enough." Rumplestiltskin tells him as he disappears into a puff of smoke, leaving only the hook where he once was. Killian picks it up, studies it for a moment, before looking back to Milah's lifeless form, then back at the hook.
He then walks back over to his wife's dead body, she had been eight months pregnant. Suddenly, a bright blue light comes from next to Milah's dead form. When it fades, the blue fairy appears next to her. She puts her hand on her face as she looks to Killian, "She was pregnant, wasn't she?" the blue fairy asks Killian. Killian simply nods his head as the blue fairy looks back to Milah, studying her, "My magic doesn't allow me to bring Milah back, but I can return the child to you." the blue fairy tells him, "Though, if I do, I must tell you that every magic comes with a price, even good magic has a price." she tells him. Killian looks to her and nods, "Anything!" he tells her, she smiles as she takes her wand out and begins to make movements with it, sparkles glowing as she shoots it out, below herself.
Suddenly, a beautiful baby girl appears in a pink blanket. Her hair is a blonde color, with her eyes a crystal blue, and pale skin. Killian picks her up immediately, "Thank you so much." he tells her as he smiles at his daughter. The blue fairy smiles too and with a flick of her wand, she is gone in a blinding light.
Once the fairy was gone, Killian holds the baby girl, who was now asleep, as the crew disposes of Milah's body into the sea. One of the crew members come to him, and offer to hold the child. Debating on it, he finally hands her to him, who takes care of her as Killian walks over to where the trader was. "Hey! Hey!" He says in a muffled tone, "Allow him to speak." Killian says to the crew; following his orders, the crew takes off the cloth covering his mouth and tying his hands together.
Once he is untied, he walks over to Killian, "I want my bean." he tells him, though Killian does not listen, "Let me tell you how it works on my ship. I make the demands. You follow them. The bean's now mine." Killian tells him. "You have to give me something for it." The trader tells him in a persuading tone, "Oh, I will. Your life. The chance to join my crew." Killian tells him. Though the trader doesn't look convinced, "So instead of the promise of eternal life, I get to scrub blood off your decks and take care of that child. How is that right?" he tells him, seeing the child. Killian does not look happy one bit at his comment, "What if I was to tell you I was about to set sail to a land where none of us will ever grow old? Where I can discover how to get my revenge on Rumplestiltskin?" Killian asks him, though a smile forms on the traders face, "I'd say I could live with that." he tells him. Killian wears a tight smile, "Also." he tells him as he lifts him by the shirt with his hand, "Don't you dare make fun of her, she is my child." he tells him in anger, though he simply nods as he puts him back on the ground.
"Good. What's your name, sailor?" Killian asks him, "William. William Smee." he tells him as he looks over at one of the shipmates that is wearing his red, knit hat, "Can I have my hat?" he asks Killian. Nodding, Killian gestures for the shipmate to give William his hat, the shipmate throws it at him, "Well, Mr. Smee," Killian says as Smee puts on his hat, "welcome aboard." he tells him as the crewmate from earlier hands him the child. Rocking the child, she coos in her sleep. Looking up, Jones shows him the bean and then throws it into the sea, creating a portal in the water. "Harden up and get ready to set sail, mates! There's bumpy seas ahead." Killian says as the ship begins to blow, with Smee behind him with the child in his hands, "What's the name of the place we're headed, Cap'n?" Smee asks, walking up the steps with her still in his hands. Killian picks up the hook, puts it on his hand and twists it, clicking it into place. He smiles as he takes the baby girl from his hands, who is now awake. Holding her with his right shoulder, "Don't you worry my dear Isabelle Jones, where we are going, everything will be perfect." he tells her and he puts his free hand on the ship's wheel and looks to Smee. "Neverland!" He tells him as he turns the ship's wheel as the wind howls and the ship sails into the sea portal.
