Hello! I'm kinda new to writing and I'm not very confident about this. It took me hours and some chocolate to convince myself to post. The chapters may be short but I write slow and I'm gonna try post every week on Fridays or the weekend! Please tell me what you think because, as I said, I'm new to this. Okey I'll leave you alone now <3
Jupiter was outraged at you. Lightening bolts streaked down from the sky and rain plastered your clothes underneath your armour to your body. Your usually silky black hair was tangled and soaked as it whipped around behind you. However, the things that were in the worst shape were your wings. They were tattered and worn from flying all night and each time you flapped, feathers were torn away and left in the wind. All you wanted to do was visit Earth!
You'd easily snuck past the guards of the stream, the efficient transportation system that sent assigned creatures to their planets from Olympus, and leapt into it before anyone could catch you. Now you were suffering the consequences of your stupid little dream.
Since you were youngster, you'd always wanted to visit the legendary Earth. You constantly heard the stories of how these strange creatures called humans, who continuously fought when things could be sorted out simply, used to worship the gods and respected them as they should be respected for aeons before they grew idle. Now, great cities stretched into the sky and thick pollution clouded the atmosphere, no one considered for a second that all their ancient stories were true, until now. The final thing that pushed you to execute your ridiculous plan though, was monsters.
Word of hundreds, if not thousands of unique creatures that had been trapped under the Mt Ebott for decades finally surfacing had reached Olympus. The Big Three, Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto, had strictly forbidden anyone from reaching Earth in fear of the weak minds of humans. But, you couldn't help yourself. You just had to meet humans and monsters together and now you'd just blown your chance.
Out of nowhere, a bolt of lightening struck your left wing. You screeched in pain and terror, furiously flapping your remaining wing to keep you in the sky. It was no use. A smouldering hole had been blasted into your poor wing and you couldn't stay up anymore.
Suddenly, your right wing cramped up, too overworked to continue and, like that, you fell from the sky into the city, waiting for your body to slam into the hard concrete below.
