Chapter 24

Jessica's Pov

It's Saturday morning about 6 am my alarm went off and I rolled over and threw my phone. It went off again and I finally got my lazy self up. It was about 6:15 when I finally decided to get dressed. I went into my bathroom did my daily routine. I went back to my closet and rummage through some clothes til I found something. I put on my 'the adventure begins' quarter sleeve t shirt, my black Nike leggings with under armor socks, put my grey nike shoes. I put my hair into a ponytail and a dark grey headband. I grabbed my Lokai pink bracelet my backpack some money and gum. You never know. I did my makeup very lightly. I did foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara.

"Jess you have to go serve your Saturday detention" Noah said opening my door.

"I hate you" I said getting up.

I'm still salty about how I got the detention and who's going to be in there with me. Mariana is fine but we're going to be stuck with Jenna. Damn it! I got up and walked downstairs as I was leaving it was about 7:50. I walked to school and it was 7:57. I walked into the classroom and I saw Jenna and Nick sitting in there. Where's Mariana?

"Hey Nick" I said sitting next to him.

"Hey Jess" Nick said.

"So um why are you here" I asked.

"You don't want to know" Nick said.

"Yeah I kind of do" I said.

"I no don't worry about it really" Nick said.

"Okay whatever you say" I said.

It was about 8:05 and then Mariana walked in. Then the one person I didn't want to see came in with her. Ugh god kill me now.

"Hey" Mariana said sitting next to me.

"What took you guys so long to come" I said.

"I um don't know don't worry about it" Mariana said.

"Okay" I said.

"You know the rules no talking no eating no chewing gum no leaving this classroom do your homework these doors will be locked so you can't leave when ever you please enjoy detention see you in a few hours" The detention teacher Mrs.Wheeler said.

"This is going to be hell" Jenna said turning around in her seat.

~1 hour later~

It's been an hour since detention started and I'm crazy bored out of my mind. It was now down pouring which is great considering I don't have a jacket and I have to walk home but whatever it's fine it's fine. We were all spread out around the classroom. I was sitting on the window seal looking out the window, Mariana was sitting in a corner, Jenna was sitting near the teachers desk doing something, Jesus was lying on the desk and Nick was sitting on the ground.

"I'm so bored" Jenna said.

"Aren't we all Sherlock" Mariana said.

Then they started fighting over dumb things now it's crazy.

"God your so annoying" Jenna said.

"I'm annoying your annoying" Mariana said.

"Shut up" I said finally speaking.

"But" Jenna said.

"Shut up just shut the hell up" I said turning back around to the position I was in before.

I swear the time was going by so slow and I had to pee. Only me I swear. But looking at the rain and hearing it hit the ground definitely did not help the situation. 

~1 hour later~

It's now 10:00 and we all switched positions I was sitting with my legs crossed legged on the window seal. Mariana was sitting at a desk pretty sure she went to sleep. Jenna was sitting near the door rocking back and fourth in the corner. Nick was sitting in one of the desk near me with his head down. Jesus was sitting on the ground where Mariana was sitting before.

"God I need to get out of here" Nick said.

"Me too" Jenna said.

"I'm going for a walk" Nick said getting up.

"I'm coming" I said jumping down from the window.

"Me too" Jenna said.

"I guess I'll go too" Jesus said sitting up.

"Where are we going" Mariana asked.

"For a walk" Jesus and I said at the same time awkwardly looking at each other.

"Okay I'm coming" Mariana said getting up.

Nick opened the door quietly. We don't know who's in this school honestly it can be an ax-murder. Okay that a little over exaggerated but still. We all followed Nick out of the classroom.

We heard a noise and we all ran. Which is dumb but we were just acting quick.

"You guys suck at sneaking around" Jenna said.

"Says the one who is wearing heels" I said rolling my eyes.

Jenna scoffed and we continued to walk well we all got split up. Guess who I got stuck with? I got stuck with Jenna out of all people. I'm pretty sure Mariana went with Jesus and Nick. I wouldn't know though I don't have my phone.

"Damn it damn it" Jenna said as we were going up the stairs.

"What" I said turning around.

"My heel broke" Jenna said giving me her show.

I couldn't help but giggle a little bit. It was so funny. In my opinion it was.

"This isn't funny it's raining and I don't have a shoe" Jenna said taking her other shoe off.

"Okay okay I'm sorry" I said throwing my hands up in defeat.

We heard a noise and ran into a closet. Oh great I'm in a closet with the person who hates me the most how fun. We turned around and someone grabbed us.

"Oh my god" I said turning around.

"The hell" Jenna said jumping.

"Okay that's not funny" I said as Nick and Jesus were hysterical laughing.

"It's very funny" Jesus said.

I smiled a little bit but then my smiled faded when I noticed we were missing someone.

"Where's Mariana" I asked.
