When we were young everyone was afraid of something, whether it be classics like the Boogeyman and strange shadows or random things like balloons popping or unknown relatives. But as we got older our fears developed into something more real like wondering if we'll pass a test or if someone likes us back, some of the more "silly" people are still afraid of the things that go bump in the night. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe those people aren't as silly as we may think? As children our parents told us that "it's just the wind'" or "your mind is just playing tricks on you". Well i'm here to tell you that that was bullsh!t and we were all scared for a reason, our monsters were real and they still follow us, watch us, listening and planning for the perfect time to strike. I know i may sound crazy but i'm telling you that this is true. I am writing this 3 weeks after my encounter with my childhood tormentor, he killed my wife and took my daughter. I am going after him, if you don't hear from me again then you know what happened. My name is Brian Wexford, please spread my story so others know the danger that lurks in the unexplored.

It was a windy spring day in early April. My wife, Jacqueline, and I went over my mothers house to pick up some old boxes of mine, We brought along our 5 year old daughter, Brianna, cause my mother said she had a surprise for her. When we got there my mother greeted us with a warm smile and hugs. We found out my mother had setup a small Easter egg hunt for my daughter to enjoy, so my wife went with her and helped her find the eggs. I was sitting with my mother and we were going through some of my old stuff and reminiscing of my childhood.

"You were such a happy little boy, so full of energy. You had a big imagination too." "You were always making up different imaginary friends, but there was one that you never forgot." She picked up a drawing of mine. "His name was Amon", she said with a chuckle. "How you came up with that name I don't know but it stuck" " You would always run into me and your fathers room at night saying "Help, help!! Amon's trying to get me!" "I can't remember a night when you didn't sleep with us" I look at the drawing and its a creature in a black cloak with long yellowed nails. the name "Amon" in all caps across the top. The drawing was slightly sinister for a kids drawing.

"This looks horrible" i say with a chuckle " I can't believe you used to tell me these were 'masterpieces' mom" She laughed wholeheartedly "I said anything to keep you and your siblings happy" "-and it worked" I added. When Brianna and Jacqi were finished with the hunt they came in and we all had dinner. After I loaded all of my old stuff into our van I walked back to the house to say goodbye to my mom. She gave me a big hug then said "Don't let Amon get you!!" and laughed after. I laughed at the motherly teasing and started to leave"Bye mom!!" I called again over my shoulder.I got in the car, mad sure Bri was strapped in tight, and drove off. As we were driving home I started thinking about the drawing again. I started remembering things from my childhood, like running through the house ,from nothing, playing hide and seek, with no one. As I came out of my thoughts and focused on the road again I noticed a tall figure in the road. I threw my arm across my wife holding her to the seat and stomped on the breaks, hoping I stopped i time.

If you like the story so far give it a vote and/or comment on the chapter.....or don't cause imma write a part 2 anyway. Also to stop any confusion this story is all from my luxurious brain, the only thing that is not mine is the name "Amon" who is an actual demon, look it up if you don't believe me. Anyway hope you enjoyed the gorey stuff will happen in the next chapter, bye hoes~ xoxo Gossip girl
