Fifth grade. First day. Lunch.

Every body was so new at this school. I didn't know anybody, but tried my best to make friends.

I didn't see you until I went up to get my food. You were looking around, standing in line, taking in the croud.

You hit me like a bullet. Being in elementary school, I was still new with the whole love thing, but I knew I loved you. I instantly blushed, even before you caught me staring at you.

When you did look over in my direction, you smiled, your pearly white smile brightning the whole room. I was completely speechless.

You noticed me staring, and once you got your food you came back in line next to me to introduce yourself. You smelled like French vannilla and tulips. I can still remember the aroma.

11 grade. My house.

We'd known each other forever, and yet I still felt one sided. I wanted so much more than a casual friendship, but it was so hard to get to you.

Now, we were sitting on my floor playing cards, you still in your cute soccer shorts and ponytail focused on your next play.

You had won the game. Again. I teased you, asking why I invited you over to play if you would just keep humiliating me. God, when you smiled, you made me slip into a trance that I didn't want to escape from.

You started to get up to leave, but I didn't, couldn't let you leave. Not yet. My hand gently brushed at yours, begging you to stay. I stood up, so I was level with you. I leaned in slowely, you acted a little scared at first but closed your eyes and I closed mine, your lips were so smooth and warm and soft...

11 Grade. The next day. Hallways.

We are flirting. We are. My biggest fear was you would ignore me, or be mad at me, but you were laughing, joking, and flirting. I loved you. I loved you. You.

You were all I thought about during my classes. I didn't care if the teacher called on me because I wasn't paying attention. It didn't matter. You were too important to me.

Did you love me?
