A/N: I will update the other stories soon. I promise. You can blame my teachers for giving me bunches of homework and you can blame my writers block as well. Anyway, I had this idea a couple of days ago, so I hope you enjoy and hopefully, this will help me with my writers block. Tell me if I should do more of these!
WARNING: The feels will happen.

Mitch POV
Jerome was leaning towards me with his eyes closed. I didn't know what to do. I'm not gay, I'm straight.
"Biggums, what are you doing?" I asked.
"Huh? I was...um...I was..." he trailed off.
"Were you going to kiss me?"
"Um...well...yeah," he said looking down.
"Oh," I said.
"Mitch... I love you."
"Um...I-I....my gawd Jerome! Why do you do this to me?! I'm straight, not a gay boy like you!" I yelled.
Jerome's eyes filled with tears. He muttered something, but I couldn't hear him. Then, he got up from the logs and ran.

Quick note: Jerome's POV will start before the part you just read. Like when he was at home.

Jerome POV
I couldn't wait. I invited Mitch to our favorite place: the forest. I was going to tell Mitch I love him. I hope he feels the same because I wouldn't be able to live without him. I would die if he said he didn't feel the same way.

"Were you going to kiss me?" Mitch asked.
"Um...well...yeah," I said looking down at the log we were sitting on.
"Oh," Mitch said.
"Mitch... I love you," I said, happy that I could finally say it.
"Well...I-I... my gawd Jerome! Why do you do this to me?! I'm straight, not a gay boy like you!" Mitch yelled. My heart shattered into a million pieces. I could tell he meant it. My eyes started to tear up.
"I guess I can die then," I muttered and ran to my house. I checked to see if Mitch was following, but nobody was there. He really didn't care for me. I got home and wrote a note to my mom. Then, I went to my bathroom and searched for a blade.
"There you are," I said to myself.
I grabbed it and ran back to the forest. Mitch wasn't there, perfect. I climbed up a big tree that was right above from where we were sitting. I sat in the tree carving his name into my arm. It felt nice as the blood trickled down my arm. I started cutting his name on my other arm...and thigh along with all of my other cuts. I started to feel dizzy. I guess it's time. I stood up, still dizzy and hoped that the fall damage will kill me. I jumped off of the tree and landed face first on our log. With the rest of my strength, I was able to carve M + J into the log before I slipped into darkest. Goodbye Mitch.

Mitch POV
Man, I haven't heard from Jerome for a couple days. He's probably mad at me. Who would blame him? I guess I better call him. I grabbed my phone and dialed his number, but he didn't pick up, so I called his mom. He always goes to her when he is hurt. Luckily, she picked up.
"H-hello?" she said.
"Hey, it's Mitch. Can I talk to Jerome?"
"I'm s-sorry, b-but J-Jerome is..." she trailed off.
"What's wrong?" I asked, worried.
"J-Jerome is d-dead," she cried.
"I'm so sorry," I said, "Jerome is dead? Why? What happened?"
"He was found in a forest. H-he died because of s-self h-harm."
"Did he leave any notes?" I asked, astonished.
"He did, but all it said was for me and another person to at his funeral."
"Oh, I'm sorry for your loss."
"Wait, didn't you say your name was Mitch?"
"Yeah," I said.
"Our loss. He talked about you all of the time."
"Well, I guess I'll see you there," I said and hung up. Jerome died because of self harm in a forest. A forest! I ran to the forest and searched for the log we sat at a few days ago. Once I found it, I cried. It had a carving of M + J. I drew a heart around it with a stick.
I now realize something, Biggums. I love you, too.
