"Shhh it's okay. It's okay" She soothed the young boy.

He looked so frightened walking down the dark corridor. The only light came from the woman that guided him. Her flowing white dress contrasted the dark interior of the hall. She look as if an angle.

The hall went on forever or the time was just slowed. The boy couldn't hide his fear of the dark and the shadows that followed them. He felt uneasy by the woman's presents also, her beauty was almost unearthly.

It was so quiet and yet so loud, the footfalls and heavy breathing coming from the boy was amplified. The shadows seemed to be reaching out, trying to grab him, to take him away into their dark world.

He whimpered "Don't let them take me. Please, oh please."

The woman caressed his face like his mother would after calming him from night terrors. Smiling with her pearly whites, telling him it was all going to be okay.

Finally they came to a stop at the lone door at the end of the hall. It was white, as pure as the woman's clothes. A screeching came from the other side, a horrible noise that sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Growling and snarling the monsters on the other side were getting riled up.

The boy started to shake, fear and anticipation weighed on him. The woman turned and gave him a gentle smile. She put her hand on the handle and turned it carefully, a blinding light flooded into the hall. As soon as his eyes adjusted the boy gave a terrified shriek.

God no.
