"Wake up Jessica! Breakfast is ready!" Said mom.
"Ok! Let me get dressed!" Replied Jessica. Jessica got dressed and she wore a crop top with some ripped jeans. She went out for breakfast and mom said like she couldn't believe it.
"Honey! Go change!"
"Mom! You have to deal with the fact that I'm a teenager can I at least look like one instead of being your little girl all the time!" Said Jessica mad.
"Fine I get it your a young adult. I guess just for today." Replied mom. Then Jessica said.
"No! I should wear it whenever I want!"
"We'll talk about this tomorrow! Now go do your stuff!" Said mom. Then Jessica went and snuck to her friend Hayley's house and she practiced singing there. Nobody knows that Jessica sings except Hayley. "🎶🎵Home alone got my phone hearing tone🎵🎶" sang Jessica.
"Wow! That was good! Your getting better!" Said Hayley shocked.
"Thanks!" Later that day Jessica arrived home and had supper with mom. They had chicken and rice and shortly after Jessica wanted to go to bed.
"Mom! I am gonna go to bed early. Ok?" Yelled Jessica.
"Ok sweety! Brush your teeth!" Mom yelled back. Then Jessica replied.
"Yeah I know and I will! Goodnight!" So Jessica went to bed. It was an early night for her. And she got up at 6:00 am. I guess it was an early morning too! This time Jessica wore a belly shirt and mom didn't really care today. Mom looked a little glum?
" Mom? Are you ok?" Said Jessica worried.
"Yeah I'm fine go to school!" Said mom a little mad. So Jessica went to school worried about mom. 'What could possibly be wrong with her?' Thought Jessica in her head. Pretty much all day she was worried about mom. Hayley was wondering what was wrong with Jessica. Ah! We all got people to worry about. Ok back to the story so Jessica was walking home and thinking. A couple minutes later she got home. She asked mom.
"Mom! Why are you sad?"
"Fine I'll tell you, well I started dating and Randal broke up with me!" Said mom almost crying.
"Oh I spilled the beans!" Said Jessica .
"You told people?!?!" Questioned mom.
"No! When I was getting a snack I spilled the beans!" Said Jessica. Then Jessica got a strange call and the man said.
"Would you like to do a singing competition at the dome plaza on Saturday?"
"OMG! Yes!" Screamed Jessica. "So I will see you on Saturday!"
"Ok! Bye!" Said the man on the phone. Then mom said.
"What?" Then Jessica replied.
"The man on the phone asked me to do a singing competition at the dome plaza on Saturday!"
"Omg! Honey! This is amazing! But you don't even sing?" Said mom exited and weird. Then Jessica said.
"Well mom there is something I need to tell you I do sing I secretly go to Hayley's house and sing."
"Really?!?! This is good!" Said mom exited.
"Ok mom you don't have to get exited." Said Jessica like it wasn't a big deal. Mom replied.
"I am just so happy for you!" Later Jessica was practicing singing for the big day! The date of the competition is Saturday March 17, which is in 2 days! Jessica is very exited! She was gonna sing a Niall Horan song. (Find out what the song is in the next chapter)
