August 2007 (Vic's POV):

The news headlines went out saying, "Jennifer and Jesse Engaged."

"Looks guys! There you are!"

I showed them the news headlines and Mom was so happy to see them.

There were good, positive comments about their relationship and more.

That day, they were to take engagement photoshoots.

Me and my parents all went to the nearby beach to spend the week.

The photographer told them to do many different moves, and I saw them.

I stood in the back behind him, as he took these amazing shots.

Wedding plans had approach for both of them, and days were coming by fast.

Things became more serious for them, and I started to get worried.

Their relationship had been more passionate earlier, but all of a sudden, that went.

Sadly, my parents decided to break the engagement and get separated.

It was one of the worst things I had ever witnessed in my entire life.

Thankfully, they both still said they would be able to work together on House normally.

Lisa Edelstein shipped them as much as I ever did.

I mean, in the end, they're my parents.

Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer.

They'd always be in my heart forever, no matter how they separated or what happened.

January 2008 (Vic's POV):

Mom and I lived through the separation together, and that's what made us even stronger.

It took some time to recover from, but something about them is that they can battle anything.

I still loved Dad and understood that things just happened this way from a reason.

It wasn't their fault really, they just didn't feel it anymore, and that was understandable.

Even through her rough schedules of filming, we still were able to spend time together.

"I have a good idea! I think you will really like this!"

I don't know what in the word Mom was thinking about doing.

"What is it?"

I was so curious to find out, because when Mom has a good idea, you can feel it.

Mom and I went to a festival event that afternoon, where they were dogs!

"Mom, this is awesome!"

I got to see all the amazing dogs that were up from adoption at the festival.

Then I had to ask, "Are we getting one?"

"Of course we are!"

Then at that moment, I saw the cutest dog I had ever seen.

She was a puppy that had white fur that was as white as snow.

And to this very day, we still love her.

She would always be apart of our family, because she was very special.

"What should we name her, Mom?"

"Ava. Let's name her Ava"
