I awake again to the sound of my alarm going crazy. Slamming my hand on it, I get up and walk to the bathroom. I take my extra-long shower that I take when I feel down. "Ugh. I hate it when that happens," I say to myself as I look into the mirror to see that my eyes are bloodshot. "Fuck," I sigh, "Hopefully those will go away before I go to work."
I put on some underwear and an over-sized shirt and walk into the kitchen. I look to the empty box of cereal on the counter. "Hm. Guess I need to go shopping today." I head back into my bedroom and throw on some clothes.
After going into my car and turning it on, I notice a note in my bag from Shawn.
"Hey Kim. I'm really sorry for spilling water on your phone tonight. Hopefully it still works, if not then I can pay for a new one. Anyway, I think we should hang out more often. Maybe this Thursday before you go into work? I'd really like it.

I scream a little in my car. My neighbors probably think I've officially gone crazy, BUT I DON'T CARE! I JUST GOT ASKED OUT!! I stop squealing as I turn on the car. Backing out of my driveway my eyes keep going to the note.
I walk around Food Mart looking at all the food there. My stomach growls and I go a little faster. As I'm looking at the cereal somebody bumps into me. "Oh I'm sorry," I say.
"No no it's my-" the person pauses. I look to them and my mouth drops.
"Oh my gosh! Liam is that you?!" I yell(a little too loudly) and hug him.
"Yes it is girl! Oh my god it's been years!"
"We saw each other at Kimberly and Michael's engagement party and that was it! Geeze it's been forever," I say as I rub my neck awkwardly.
"Ooh honey you are looking fabulous too. Those sweatpants and that messy bun really suits you" Liam says teasingly.
"Yeeah. Didn't really feel like getting ready til I had to go into work heh."
We stay and talk like that for a while. We both finish our shopping, check out together, then leave the store. "So why are you here?" I ask Him.
"Oh sweetie, I'm moving here! Isn't that wonderful!"
"Oh my gosh yes! Where to?"
"Widow Lane sweetie," he says with a sky smirk.
"Oh my gosh... YOU'RE GONNA BE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD!" I scream and hug him as tightly as I can manage.
"Heehee yes boo. I am. Now, you mind letting me go so I can go there? You can show me where you live now too. Since I never saw last time."
"Ah yes. Of course,"
We pull up to my house and we both step out of our cars. He helps me bring the groceries inside and watches me as I put them up. "So sweetie, still single I see?"
"Ugh. Yeah. But there's this really cute dude. WHO ASKED ME OUT LAST NIGHT! Well, it was with a note that he stuck in my purse, but it still counts. We're going out Thursday morning before work."
"OH DAMN HONEY. GET IT GIRL. Also get some girl," he says while my face heats up.
"L-LIAM! Nothing like that is going to happen..." I say with my head hung low.
"Mmhmm yeah. High School Kim would've never said that."
"Well I'm adult Kim now, and adult Kim says no to sex until at least one year of dating."
"Oh how I WISH I could be like you..." he says as he looks away. I slowly turn around and look at him with a disgusted face.
"How many...?"
"Oh dear only like 5. I'm not a whore..." I give a *Yeeeah okay sure* face to him. "Okay. I'm not a complete whore!"
"That's more like it."
We stay talking for a bit until he goes to his house because work approaches soon. I promise to go over tomorrow morning to see him. When he leaves I turn to the clock. "3:52" it says. I have time. I got into my room to put on some regular clothes and head into the garage with my amazing machine.
