My skin glew in the sun. With a black marker I wrote on Lyon's cigarette box while played with his guitar. He hummed and didn't pay attention to me until I opened the box. He just glansed at me when I took a cigarette and wrote on it. He leaned casually over my shoulder and flexed his brows when I lit him on. I brought the end to my lips with a grin on my face. He looked at me as if I going mad but I groaned and slapped his knee. I took it away from lips and held it infront of his nose. With thick bold lines I wrote 'hot' on the white part that hadn't been burned away. His frown looked at me.
"I'm smoking hot." I waited for a respond. When we made eyecontact I couldn't hold my laugh making him chuckle.
My eyes snapped opened. It was light outside and I wondered how long I've slept because my body felt so sore I could hardly move. I was dizzy and my stomach was upset. So I just groaned in all hopes it would help anything. My shoulders were cold. Is what I thought when I felt my back crack painfully.
"Jesus." I muttered. Facing the nightstand I noticed the four thick books L mentioned yesterday. They had colourful covers with beautiful titles in even prettier writing. Most of them had hard covers.
"Huh..." I breathed. Picking them up almost made me feel like rebel because they felt way too expensive for me.
Are these really for me?
I felt sick but I figured that I might have been abit hungry too. My blury vision restrained me from noticing the pills and water next to the books, so I just stood up and changed into a jeans and a turtleneck sweather, cleaned the sweat of my faceand gassed the bedroom with deodorant.
"What are you doing out of bed?" L asked when I barely made my first step out of the bedroom. The sudden 'human interaction frocess' made me jump. Matsuda didn't look to my surprise. Aizawa just threw me an expression of annoyance and then looked back down. The one only paying halve attention was Ukita.
"I'm... just getting something to eat." I muttered with a soft voice.
"Good morning, gentlemen." I added without getting alot of responds. I flexed my eyebrows.
"I'll ask Watari to get you something-" L began.
"No, that's alright." I coughed. "Actually, can I get you anything?" I asked to the men recieving looks that I wished to not get.
"Eh.... I'd like a coffee." Matsuda smiled.
"Alright." I gave him a small smile back and went to the kitchen. Something told me that L rather wanted me to stay in the bedroom so I couldn't hear what they were talking about. Or maybe L told the men to ignore me.. That might explain the defencive vibe I got whenever I met with the taskforce. But I'm sick of the hole cat and mouse game. Actually, I'm still not sure who I am in this case. Light and Matsuda were the only people could actually talk to without getting the feeling of isolation all the time. But since Matsuda has been so distant to me lately... Maybe he only came to me to that coffee shop because L told him to.. That could be true since L was certainly watching us.. And why did L buy those expensive books for me? Does he want to gain my trust? So I'll just tell him about Kira? Is he as sure of me as he is sure of Light?
A wave of discomfort washed over me when I reminded myself that Watari was watching me right now.
Did L enjoy the dance with me?
I dropped the cup on the counter. Seeing the dark drink I thought deeply.
Maybe Verner would have liked a dance better.
I dried my eyelashes with my sleeve and prepaired Touta's coffee.
I walked back outside with a coffee with foam and some sugar using my coffeemakers skills. Holding a wooden plate in two hands I faked a smile.
