5. Were You Going To Hit Me With A Frying PanThe day smoothly went by, nothing happened and El was my new nickname by Zander. I liked spending time with him. Surprisingly.
I was going over some tedious notes, that seemed a little more complex then what we had done in America.
'Boo'
"Aghh." I screamed as I heard the sound, I really didn't need to hear it, my ear drum felt like it was exploding a gazillion times. I groaned and saw my sister.
"Who let you in?" I asked her.
"I have a key." She said and showed me.
I groaned at the thought of her coming in ruing the place.
"Please don't come in and just knock instead." I told her, sometimes I felt like I was the older sister and not the other way round.
"Sorry." She muttered with no heart.
"Anyway, we're going shopping remember, Zander's waiting outside." My face lit up once she said his name. I nodded and we went outside. It was moderately hot so I had worn black ripped shorts and a crop top, you could even see my belly button piercing. I had sunglasses on to match my hair currently in two french braids.
Zander was in the car, I would have sat in the front if Florence hadn't got there first.
"I get car sick." Florence said reminding me.
"I know." I lowly whispered.
"Hi El." Zander said smiling, he was too cute for this world.
We drove to a stylist on the other side of London, and finally got there. We walked in and there were two people waiting for us. One took Florence and the other took me.
She showed me some nice dresses. They were really nice but I just didn't like how they were all mid thigh. I creeped away and saw a beautiful gold long two piece dress. The top had gold glitter and was part backless and the bottom was a satin gold, I fell in love, which was surprising as I never cared for falling in love with clothes. Food yes.
"Can I try this one?" I asked the lady.
"That was supposed to be for your sister to try." The assistant said to me.
"But it's perfect, please." I pleaded again.
"Ok, but don't tell her." I nodded and went to try it on. Zander was helping Florence reluctantly.
So I would have to pay and get it on the day, I wanted to make an entrance. My whole family would be coming from France. Even my best friend from France. He was an amazing friend, who I missed so much.
I came out and I fell in love again.
"I'll take it." I told the lady. She put it on the side in a white cover and put my name and the address to deliver it to. I smiled and payed, before I could hand my credit card, Zander put his in first.
"I could have paid myself." I told him.
"What kind of gentleman would I be if I made a princess pay?" He said smirking.
"A gentleman that respected the right for woman to be able to pay for there own stuff." I told him.
"Well, to bad El." He said and smirked again. He was so adorable sometimes, actually all the time.
"Is Florence done." I asked him.
"I think so, the dress she picked out was a bit well disgusting." He murmured the last part so only I could hear.
"How?" I asked.
"Lets just say a lot of frills and a lot of pink." He said and I burst out laughing.
"What you laughing about?" Florence asked walking towards us.
"Nothing." We both said in sync. I burst out laughing again at the look plastered on Florence's face.
"You got your dress." Florence asked me, ignoring the laughter.
"Yep, it's over there." I told her.
"When can I see it?" She asked noisily.
"At the engagement party." I told her. I wanted to surprise them all. I always liked making an entrance.
We went out the shop and Florence wanted to buy shoes so we followed. She bought some pink floral shoes whilst I went for gold ones to match my dress.
By the end of the day, I was tired, really tired. I fell on mattress and didn't bother going over the rest of my notes. I had early classes and would need a lot of sleep, so I didn't bother to have dinner which I new I would regret. Being super hungry tomorrow morning.
I woke up half way through the night, and went to find some food.
Creek.
I heard the floorboards creaking silently. Someone had broken in. I quickly dipped low and found a frying pan quickly.
"This should do." I whispered to myself. I stood up and saw a figure walking to my bedroom.
I slowly walked towards the figure, and lifted the frying pan up to hit the person on the head. I was so close until I heard the voice.
"Axel." I shouted.
The figure turned around and I saw my best friend.
"El." Axel shouted back. I dropped the frying pan, and jumped onto him.
"Your here." I shouted at him. I carried on hugging him.
"Off course I'n here." He said tightening the hug. "Were you going to hit me with a frying pan." He asked seeing the frying pan on the floor.
"Uh yeah." I said and then changed the subject. "I missed you, I thought you were coming on Friday." I asked.
"I was, but I wanted to hang out with my best friend." He said.
I hugged him again. I had missed my best friend.
"How did you get in?" I asked opening a light.
"Florence gave me a key." He said and showed the key.
"Tell me everything that has happened in France." I told him.
We spent the rest of night telling each other what has happened since the last time we met. Just as we did when we were children.
"El, we're going together for the engagement party." Axel said smiling.
"Off course we are." I said with a grin.
I felt however something in my stomach, I felt like I was betraying somebody. But I had no idea who.
