(To be completely honest, the last chapter and this one were supposed to be completely fluffy. I didn't expect for my mind to be like 'burn Tord's arm to a crisp')

"You've gotta be more careful..."
"Eh, it's not like it hurts."
"That's not a good thing, at all!" Tom screamed at Tord, who flinched softly. "Sorry... I just feel like this is my fault."
"It's not." Tord put one of his shadowy hands on Tom's shoulder. "Its mine. I was just being stupid."

Tom went silent after that and continued to try and patch up Tord's arm.
".... is that helping?" Tom asked and Tord looked at his burnt arm.
"Still feels like charcoal. So no..?"
"Fuck.... that's bad...." Tom quickly unwrapped the healing herbs and bandages from Tord's arm and thought for a second. He looked into the medical kit Tord had thrown together and sighed.
"I don't think we have anything We can heal that with..."
"..... I think I know how to figure out if we can heal it or not."
"What?"
"Come on." Tord got up from his seat. "Follow me. I know a guy."

"Tord, where are we?" Tom asked, sticking to his friend's side. The area they were standing in was a darkened part of the forest. So many trees covered the top, so sunlight could not fully reach through. Little splotches of the ground were bright green, others dark and dreary. In the middle of the clearing sat a cave with rocks surrounding it. The rocks were shaped more like giant stalagmites and were jagged at the tops. Tord patted Tom's back.
"Hey, it's ok. Calm down. This place may look scary, but the two that live here are actually pretty nice." Tord soothed his friend and walked forwards into the clearing. Tom stayed back, scared of what might happen if he dared to take a step forwards.

Behind him, the angel heard a few branches break and squeaked in fear, his wings puffing up. Tord chuckled.
"Tom, calm down." The eldritch told him and turned his attention back to the cave. He walked towards it, leaving Tom behind.
Just as Tord reached the mouth of the deep, dark cave, Tom heard more branches break behind him. He was about to call the other's name out when a sudden shape flew out of the bushes and trees and tackled him, snarling. Tom squeaked and covered his face, not wanting to be mauled to death.

"Paul! Off! He's my friend!" Tom heard Tord scold and creature, causing it to sit on his stomach. Tom slowly put his arms down to take a look at what tackled him, and gulped, seeing a very familiar looking werewolf.
"Sorry. Thought he was going to kill ya or somethin."
"It's fine." Tord rolled his eyes and sighed, walking over to them. Paul quickly got off of Tom and Tord helped his friend up. The angel instantly hid behind Tord, who looked at him weirdly.
"Uh... do you two... know each other?" Tord asked Tom, who nodded.
Paul huffed. "I don't remember seeing anyone like you before." Tord looked at Tom again, slightly confused. His friend sighed and started to explain.

"Wow. You're pretty nice! No one has ever been this nice to me." The human, Edd, smiled up at the floating angel, who smiled back.
"Well, it's my job. I'm your guardian angel!" Tom exclaimed before the two started laughing. Suddenly, Edd stopped and looked around.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah.... I just thought I heard something." Edd replied and Tom looked around, listening.
"I don't hear anything... maybe you're scared of the dark?"
"Nope. I never had been. Must be hearing things." Edd chuckled and continued to walk besides his friend.

After another few minutes, Edd stopped walking.
"There it is again!"
"What does it sound like?"
"It sounds like.... rustling?" Edd asked and looked around. Tom listened very closely, until he heard it. A loud rustling sound.
"Edd... get out of here."
"Why?! It could just be a-" Edd was cut out by his own scream. Tom turned around and his eyes widened as he saw a wolf-like creature pounce onto Edd and bite him in the neck. Tom floated there in horror, since he did not have the ability to touch anything in their dimension, as Edd bled out from the creature's tearing at his neck. The creature looked up and stared at the spot where Tom was floating, as if he could see him, and growled. Then, it fled into the bushes.

"Wait... Edd used to be human?!" Tord asked Tom in disbelieve and his friend nodded, glaring at Paul.
"And it's his fault that he's a werewolf."
"Hey! It's not my fault that you didn't do shit! And that you two were in my territory!" Paul growled.
"Because I couldn't! And you could have let him go!" Tom screamed back and Tord gulped, hearing some rustling from the mouth of the cave they were near.

"What the hell is with all of the yelling out here?" Another voice growled from the cave and Paul whimpered like a puppy before sitting in the ground with his ears plastered against his head.
"Ah shit..." Tord muttered and got in front of Tom, as if to protect the small angel. Tom looked slightly confused and peeked over Tord's shoulder to see what was going on.
Another monster had emerged from the cave, looking grumpy and tired. His brown hair was combed in a weird way and messy towards the back. His eyes were bright yellow and somewhat glowed the same color. He had a red, scaly tail and wings to match, as well as large claws that could easy kill someone. His mouth came out into a snout while his entire body was covered in red scales. Other than that, the creature had a pair of baggy, ripped up blue jeans and a faded yellow hoodie on. The creature looked over to Paul, then to Tord, not seeing Tom.
"Tord? What are you doing here?" The dragon's pitch went up slightly and he ruffled his up own hair, making his two small horns appear.
"I'm here because of this." Tord held his arm towards the dragon.
"Damn, that's bad."
"Was trying to preform a fire typhoon and burnt my arm." Tord looked over at Paul padded up to the dragon, got on his back two legs and hugged the reptile from the side. The two smiled softly.
"Well, I heard a third voice. Who was that?"
"Me." Tom spoke up and stepped into view from behind Tord.
"An angel...? Why do you have one of those, Tord?" The dragon asked.
"Hey! I'm not his."
"Not yet." Tord smirked and Tom growled, blushing softly.
"Alright... fine. What's your name?" The dragon asked.
"Tom."
"The name's Patryck. Just call me Pat, though. Nice to meet ya." Pat smiled a toothy grin and Tom gulped nervously, nodding.
"Alright. Now that that's settled, can you two help me with my arm?"
