A/N: I'm finally back and this is going to be the longest chapter in the book and also the final chapter. First off sorry for waiting so long to update and second thank you all for 1.4k views and 85 votes ^^

I stopped right before I reached the doors of the hospital, I bent over, completely soaked as I tried to regain my breath before entering the hospital.

As soon as I stepped foot into the hospital I was greeted with who I assumed to be the officer I spoke to on the phone.

"Miss," He said as he nodded his head towards a corridor, signalling for me to follow. "We believe we have found your boyfriend however, I've been advised to tell you that he has been in what we believe is a hit and run case. We will tell you further information along with the doctors telling you about his current condition after you have identified the man."

My heart sunk, he was in an accident?  Worry washed over me, I began to tremble, "Excuse me, s-sir, how long has he been here?" I asked, whilst I played with the bottom of my sweat shirt.

"According to the hospital, he's been here since the accident but he was in a coma for the most part of his stay and was unable to talk until very recently."

You tried to act strong and not cry, you looked up towards the ceiling, blinking back tears. The officer opened the door and you immediately closed your eyes not wanting to see him in such a state.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

You opened your eyes and his form came into view. You walked up to him and put your small hand in his, you gazed at his body, sleeping soundly on the hospital bed. You let out a small, sad laugh "This is him, this is my Jun." You said. The officer nodded and left you alone with Jun whilst he spoke to the doctors outside.

The machines that kept him alive made a soft music that you tried to make happy. You hummed to your angel a lullaby that you knew his mother used to sing to him.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine," you let out a laugh you that you tried to make happy only it sounded broken. "Hey, Jun, I missed you! You're gunna be okay..."

His body stirred, You bit your lip, feel bad that you had woken him up. But when he did, a smile played on his thin lips. "I love you." he said, making your heart pound.

"I love you too, how do you feel?"

Worry creased your brow, he took his free hand held it to yours. His body had gone through so much in the month, he was basically gone, he should still be with you at home but no, he was right here with you, in a hospital bed. His body was bruised and beat up, a hit and run had left him like this. Left him in a cold ICU, the thought of this made your anger fester inside. Anger at yourself for not being there with him and anger towards the driver who did this to him.

"I love you..." he weakly repeated, you noticed his eyes closing as you spoke and your heart fell.

"Baby-"

"I don't want to die, I'm so sorry for leaving you." his grip on you so tight, he was holding you as if you were his lifeline. Hot tears were burning your eyes, threatening to fall. You couldn't cry in front of him, you needed to be strong.

You couldn't speak any words other than 'I love you'

The machine that he was hooked up to was beeping so loud and rapidly, then finally one long continuous beep that confirmed yours and his worst fear. "I'm going to be alright." Jun whispered, trying to reassure you and himself, as doctors and nurses flooded the room, surrounding him.

You weren't registering what was happening or being said, you let it all melt into one, you closed your eyes and went back to memories. You took yourself back to the day you first met Jun.

It was a rainy afternoon, the ground outside littered with damp leaves. At the time, you were working at a bookstore. On that day the store was empty and you were alone, at least until three unfamiliar faces entered. You remembered being suspicious of the three, worried they would break something due to them entering obnoxiously. You watched them for the whole time they were there, you didn't want to be blamed by your boss for anything that had gone missing.

You smiled to yourself as you remember how you found all three extremely attractive. However, one caught your eye, Jun. You thought about how Mingyu had told you how easily Jun gets confused and how you laughed at his statement. You loved his personality, they way he acted like a child but looked so strong. You were happy from that day on, you both promised to always love and be there for each other...

Yet that promise became a broken one, you weren't there for him. A numbing feeling washed over you and your eyes finally let out the tears you we're holding back.

The resounding empty room, the words the surgeons spoke, you knew that Jun was gone, the strongest man you knew was no longer there. All that was left was your memories of the past and the fictitious ones of the future.

"Goodbye, my angel. I'm sorry..."
