Scars on my legs,
But not from what you think.
From shaving away what we hate.
The little things we hate,
End up hurting us the most.
Scars on my arms.
But not from what you think.
But from walking in the forest,
Branches brushing up against you,
Not knowing your cut till you're home.
It sucks when something so beautiful,
Can hurt you so much.
Scars on my stomach,
Still from not what you think,
But from losing weight,
And the stretch marks leaving.
Hurts when the things you want to lose hurts your body.
Scars on my back.
But you'll never guess from what.
From people stabbing me in the back.
It hurts when the people you care about the most.
Hurt you the most.
Scars on my body,
But not from what you think.
From being strong to long,
And giving in.
