Have you ever jumped off a cliff and felt the wind flowing through your hair? Or just sitting by the ocean and listened to the birds chirping and the waves crashing against the beach, while smelling the salty water in the air? I have, of course, since I'm invincible I can jump off cliffs and a hydrokinetic friend always helps when you want to have a day at the beach. My name is Alexandra, but most people call me Alex. I have Traumatophobia the fear of having an injury, and Scopophobia the fear of being noticed by others. Unfortunately, my phobias clash with my powers, invincibility and Telepathy. In fact, the two other members of my team also have phobias that clash with their powers. Take Christopher, aka Chris for example, his Aquaphobia clashes with his Hydrokinesis and his Athazagoraphobia the fear of being forgotten or ignored clashes with his Invisibility. And Serenity, she has Glossophobia the fear of speaking to people which clashes with her Siren's voice and Haphephobia the fear of being touched, which is a huge problem with her Control by touch, emphasize on the touch. We all got our powers in an explosion, cliché I know. And a week later we all started noticing weird things, like I accidentally hit myself with the blade of a knife which sent me into a panic attack and then I noticed I wasn't injured. And Chris accidentally turned invisible and freaked out when nobody noticed him. And Serenity, well... she was touched by accident and whispered "go away," and the guy's eyes glazed over and he just walked away... straight into a wall and just kept bumping into it, like he didn't even notice what he was doing.

It was a Friday, in July when everyone in Springfield was in the center of the city for our founding holiday when the air started to ripple and wave. The people in the city all had the audacity to run away as far as they could except for four of us, Chris, Alex, Haides and myself, of course. Then the heat went up and we were flying through the air, I hit the ground with my back and all the air was knocked out of me. All I remember was seeing mesmerizing blue-green eyes swirling with emotion before I embraced the darkness. But it wasn't dark for long, after what felt like seconds a beautiful lady appeared. She had long flowing black beach wave hair with a big purple streak in the front, perfect little freckles under her bright amber eyes, and rosy cheeks and lips. She was wearing a black leather jacket over top of an indigo halter top. And blue faded ripped jeans with knee high lace up combat boots. Her voice was smooth and calm like an ocean, as she introduced herself as Lucilla and explained to me about my powers and about the others powers and their phobias. Like Haides, he had Aerophobia the fear of flying and Acrophobia the fear of heights with flight powers and Astraphobia the fear of thunder and lightning with control over storms. Unfortunately, Haides didn't survive the heat and height of the fall and didn't get to join team Overcoming, which we were all very upset about because he seemed like a good kid. We even found out what his superhero codename would've been, ouranoú. Chris's superhero codename is neró agóri, Serenity's codename is seirína and my codename is áthiktos.
