~Clarissa's POV~
What a mess. Can't anything go right? I thought to myself. Why do I have to go through school like this? Why does everyday turn into a pile of horse poo?
Today is everyone's favorite day, Monday. It just also happens to be my parents' death anniversary.
Let me answer the question you might have right about now.
Yes, I'm an orphan and I have been since the beginning of 7th grade. How delightful.Other than today in general, I also happen to be wet in the girls locker room. And let me just get it straight that it's cold in there. And when I say cold, I mean really cold.
I've been teased throughout middle school about everything. It's my 8th grade year so that makes this year the 3rd I've had to deal with peoples' mean comments.
I don't understand why people always have to make fun of others. Why can't we just live in peace?
I grab my bag and head towards the stalls. I dry myself as much as possible and get changed back into my regular clothes.
I know life isn't perfect but sometimes I wish I could have something normal in my life. I mean, I live with my brother so I guess it's somewhat normal, but I don't get it. What's the big deal with alcohol that they can't wait as much as to get home and then drink. It would be a lot more safer and I guess a lot more people would still have their family.
Sighing, I try to even out my breathing. I'm not to excited to go back out into the halls. After a few moments, I decide to go though, I'll have to get it over with.
As I'm walking out, I see Lexy and Karla. I smile at them and they immediately come over to me. "What happened? We turned around and we saw you wet and all of a sudden you run into the locker room." Karla says with concern.
Another thing that I'm greatful about is having them stick by my side. I don't know what I would do without them. They help me get up when I feel like I've fallen down.
"Carter thought it would be funny to dump a bucket full of ice water on me." I say unaffected. Luckily for me it was the end of the day and I was about to head home when the incident happened. Bonus points it was gym so it wasn't my regular clothes.
"What an ass." Lexy says. "I completely agree with that." I smile as we start heading out.
"I don't." A voice says from behind me.

Okay so I finally updated, and I think I like this chapter. So all summer I was thinking about this story and I wasn't sure if I actually liked it. So I finally decided to actually continue like I said I would. However, as previous readers can note I've changed minor details. I've altered the story as where I'm comfortable enough to continue and to the point where I can say I like this story. I also decided to change the story name (previously being named decisions), book cover and as well as delete all the previous chapters. Honestly, I didn't like the chapters before hand but now I'll be starting fresh completely and you won't see the previous chapters. Anyways I know this chapter is short but I'll be updating soon. Also thank you so much for the 2.4k reads on this book. Now that it's a fresh start we'll see if we can get more. 😉💖
