Today was the day that we finally left this boring city. Being in this city for nearly twenty-three years changes the perspective of everything. I began loading the car while yawning. I didn't realize that the morning breeze would be so cold, especially while it is the summer time.

"Alright I have all of my things packed and out of the house." Said my little sister. She was still dressed in her pajamas and looked as tired as me. "Well start loading up then. I hope you weren't expecting me to do it." I gave her a little smirk as she rolled her eyes.

My mom had came outside with tears falling from her eyes. "Are you sure you want to do this Xaiore and Xai'ra?" Her eyes were a bloody red color. She had on so,even scrubs and a white shirt that was stained by something that I couldn't put my finger on.

I nodded my head to her question and went to go hug her. There was no telling when the next time I would see her. I could've brung her with me but I need to explore the world without my hand being held. We've rocked back and forth for a few moments until she wanted to give Xai'ra a hug.

"It's 4:15 we should be going to get Xaya now." Said Xai'ra she was irritated I could tell. But she gets irritated quickly so it's kind of natural. "Be safe babies!" My mom hugged both of us for the final time before we had got in the car.

"Let's make sure we have everything. Snacks? The dogs? Bowls-" I interrupted her saying we have everything. I looked out the rear view mirror still looking at my mom stand on the porch.

I pulled out the drive way and honked the horn a couple times. This was it. My journey has finally began. The next stop was to my cousin's house which was about a good nine-ten minutes away. On the way there, Xai'ra continued asking questions nonstop. I turned up the volume on the radio so that I wouldn't hear her. And once again, she got irritated.

After passing about seven restaurants we finally reached her house. She was already outside when we pulled up. I don't blame her though. We were all equally excited. "Took you long enough!" She said. "Oh shut up and load your things Xaya." Xai'ra muttered. "What's her problem?" I just shrugged my shoulders and opened the automatic trunk.

Once she got in it was time for the highway. About a 20 hour drive is ahead of us.
