Your POV
I walked down the hallways of the large school. It's foreign walls were so far away from home, but just looking around, I already started to feel at home.

I was already assigned my house, because of the fact that I'm a transfer student. I'm a third year at Hogwarts, and Dumbledore was kind enough to let me be assigned before the sorting hat ceremonies, so I didn't have to go up with a bunch of first years.

My name is Y/n CurseLove. I'm an American transfer student at Hogwarts. I transferred from the American school Triplex School of Wizardry. I was too advanced for it, so they sent me here.

I walked into the courtyard, following the map that Professor McGonagall gave me. When I got out there, I saw a boy, who's tie and robes looked like my house. Slytherin. He had platinum hair, but I couldn't see his face. He had cornered a boy with brown hair, and it seemed he was making fun of him.

I smirked and continued walking.

"Excuse me..." the boy asked, tapping my shoulder.

I turned to him, confused. Wow. Handsome. He stopped and looked at me for a second, in a slight daze. He shook his head slightly, snapping himself out of it. He dropped his hands at his sides.

"Yes?" I asked. He blinked.

"What do you think of this kid?" He gestured to the kid he had cornered, not taking his eyes off me. I glanced between the two for a moment.

"Hmmm." I walked up and looked at the brown haired boy in front of him. "What's your name?" I asked, my Midwest American accent overlaying my question thickly.

"S-Seamus..." he stuttered out. I snickered.

"Hmmmm." I repeated. The platinum haired boy looked at me, amused, with a smirk. I put my hands up around Seamus in a picture frame and muttered quietly to myself.

"Well, you seem like you might be a nice kid..." I said. I sped my way to his side, using the speed spell I'd put on myself earlier. I rested my elbow on his shoulder. "But there are a few problems..."

I sped behind him and kicked his heel. "Dork." I said. I sped in front of him and flicked his forehead. "Half-blood." I sped to his side again. "And Gryffindor. Plus, your name just tells me your disappointing." I snickered.

I smiled as I turned to the white-haired boy, who was holding in laughs. "Was that enough?" I shrugged. He nodded and burst out laughing.

I walked away, leaving the Slytherin boy laughing and the Gryffindor boy glaring.

"Now that the sorting ceremonies are over," Dumbledore's booming voice echoed off the walls as I stood in the corner of the Great Hall. "We have a new student from America. She comes from Triplex School of Wizardry. She will be joining the Slytherin house-"

The platinum haired boy snickered. "And has an even higher pure blood status than you, Mr. Malfoy." Dumbledore glared at him, and Malfoy's eyes widened.

"Introducing, Y/n CurseLove!" He yelled. The whole school cheered, except the Gryffindors, who booed. I glared in response. I saw some red heads at the table booing me as well. They really are here.

I walked to the Slytherin table and sat down a few feet away from Malfoy. Considering Dumbledore called him Malfoy, I'm guessing that's his name.

"Aye, I've heard of the CurseLove's. Is it true your whole bloodline has been in Slytherin?"

"Oi! Was your brother Tyler CurseLove?"

"Hey! Was he the greatest quidditch player in Hogwarts history?"

I was assaulted with questions the second I sat down. I held my hands up to stop the questions. I turned to each of my fellow house-mates as I answered.

"Yes, we're all Slytherins. Yes, my brother was Tyler. Yes, he was awarded greatest quidditch player." I took a sharp inhale as food appeared on the table.

"Is it true that you've a higher blood status than I?" I turned to see Malfoy looking at me, an eyebrow raised. I nodded, nervously. He smiled widely.

He quickly swapped places with the Slytherin boy in front of me. He outstretched his hand. "Nice to meet you. My name's Draco. Draco Malfoy."

"Well, you already know my name." I giggled. What? I never giggle! He chuckled.

----------

I followed Draco and his three friends, Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle, to the Slytherin Common Room after supper. We sat in there and talked for awhile before the prefects said it was time to head to our dorms.

"Sweet Dreams y/n." Draco said, about to part ways as we started walking to the dorms.

I blushed. "You too." I smiled at him and walked up the stairs.
--------------

"You're a lucky kid." The prefect that brought me to my room said. "Because you're a transfer student, you get your own room!"

I beamed. "Thank you. G'Night." I said. I walked into my room, closing the door behind me.

My stuff had already been neatly set in the corner of the room, and my owl sat at the window, looking out. Bote (guess what it means in German!) was a black owl with reddish feathers on the underside of his wings. His eyes were blood red, and his cute little owl feet were brownish black.

"Whatcha looking at buddy?" I looked at him. He hooted in response, turning his head to look at me. I went to the window. Looking out, I saw we weren't far off the ground. Considering the common room is in the dungeon, I wasn't surprised in the least.

The Black lake stood outside, shimmering in the moonlight. I looked at the bundle of trees behind it. I laid my head in my hands and sighed happily, feeling engulfed in the beautiful sight.

Little did I know, someone was watching me.

Draco's POV
"Sweet Dreams y/n." I said, smiling before we stared our descend upstairs.

"You too." She blushed. She's bloody adorable. I walked up the stairs to my dormitories that I shared with Crabbe, Goyle, and Blaise. I got into my pajamas and laid in my bed. I'm lucky mine was by the window.

"Goodnight." Blaise said, turning out the lights. Crabbe and Goyle replied with goodnight, but I kept thinking about Y/n. The way she blushed, the way she laughed, and her witty sense of humor.

I sighed happily, closing my bed curtains. I left one side open: the side that faced the window. I caught a glimpse of y/n, smiling at the Black Lake. I opened the window and looked at her. Her perfection. I laid my head on the cold stone window pane. I smiled and sighed happily.

I can't wait for tomorrow.
