(Vic's POV)

Woah, woah, woah, woah!

Only people that are close to me only call me by my nickname, and he is not close!!

"What" I said a bit rudely.

"Hey! Vic! Relax!" Mom protested.

It was a necklace that was so expensive, a middle class person couldn't pay for it.

This was just getting way too overboard, and I wanted to blow!

I faked a smile and just took the necklace, but the worst part was this.

HE SAT BETWEEN ME AND MOM, WHEN I WANTED TO SIT BY HER!

I tried to just watch the movie in peace but then I heard them whisper as they were flirting.

NO, NO, NO, NO!

After two hours, the movie was finally over, and I just wanted to go back home!

Amaury dropped us off back home in his limousine, just to be sweet, in my opinion.

"Want me to come in with you, you know what we could do..", he winked.

I knew what that meant, and I was going to cringe more and more if Mom said yes.

"Not today, Amaury. I need to have an important talk with Vic for the rest of the night."

"So now I was in trouble...", I thought.

Mom and I both walked in and I was preparing for whatever was to get in my way.

"So, what do you have to tell me?", I asked.

"Look I understand that you may not like him, but you need to give him a chance", she said.

"A chance?", I asked.

"Yes. You seem to reject him and be rude, but I need you to support me in this", she said.

"You think I don't like him because of Dad?", I asked.

"I assume that's the reason, but whatever the reason is, cut it out."

Then she walked off and got ready for bed.

I stayed up late and was on my computer for a little bit, just looking at some articles.

"Jennifer Morrison and Amaury Nolasco: Together" were the sites I encountered.

And the comments that I found about their relationship were so relatable to what I would say.

Thank goodness people out there don't ship them either, meaning I'm not crazy!

I took Ava for a walk the next morning, mostly because I was so bored at the time.

Mom was a little upset after our talk before she went to bed last night, without Amaury thank God.

Just like a normal girl, I had school and homework I had to face, so I had classmates.

"So how's that bald guy your mom is dating now?", a boy teased as I walked down the park.

"Excuse me?"

Ava was a bit frightened, so I held her to keep her safe and sound.

She had started to shake, poor little one.

"Yeah, that ugly guy! Wow your mom has such bad taste, you know?"

"If you are going to criticize her, keep that to yourself!"

"Well maybe I can't, because your mom needs people like me to tell her that this is weird."

So, this is what I did; I told a woman to hold Ava the moment because she looked trustworthy.

I got my fists ready, and I punched the guy so hard he fell to the ground in a matter of seconds.
