Prologue

We speed along the deserted road dangerously fast, I really didn’t want to know how over the speed limit we were going, but I was certain that if I did it would only serve to increase my fear by about tenfold.

I clung on to him even tighter as we sped around a corner.

“You’re going the wrong way!” I screeched confusedly, even though I knew it would be impossible to hear me over the roar of the deafening engine.

My fear and confusion on heightened sickeningly so as it dawned on me just where we were heading.

“Slow down!” I clawed at his stomach in a desperate attempt to make him at least slow down. He wasn’t even wearing a helmet. The dread I felt became so overwhelming I felt as if I was about to pass out. I should have listened, If only I'd of listened.

This was all my fault.
