She ran to the forest, tears were streaming down her face, but she couldn't hear her own cries, her music was blasting in her earbuds. When she reached her destination she looked up at it. The small tree was smaller than all the other oak trees in the area. it was surrounded by a clearing, and a rope hung from an outstretched limb. It was long, but obviously one part had been cut off. This was the tree. This was the rope. The very rope and tree her brother had used to commit suicide a week earlier. She took out her earbuds, and turned the music up, blasting into the otherwise quiet background. She did this so she would be able to work effectively. She retied a noose from the tattered rope. Once she stepped back to admire her work, she couldnt wait to be relieved of life, and join her brother. As she slipped the rope around her throat, and kicked the rock away that she had used to get up, she realised that she hadn't turned her music off. While she faded into non existce, the song that reminded her of better times began to play. She closed her eyes, allowing death to take her.
Three hours later, her phone was almost dead, still straining songs from her favorite playlist. Worried, her best friend, (who lived next door) decided to check on her. Upon realisation that the girl wasn't home, she ran to the forest, and followed the sound of the still playing song. What she found was a phone, and the hanging corpse of the girl, her best friend. When the friend broke down in tears, the phone finally died, and the final lines of the song replayed over and over in her head.

Suicide Is Not The Answer
It will only hurt the people you love around you more then life hurt you. The friend was never able to listen to the song ever again without bursting into tears. Suicide only makes life miserable for loved ones and makes others want to follow in your footsteps. If you hate your own life, remember people are happy, and you don't want them to feel your pain. Please, save a life and don't take yours.
