Jessica Jones. A girl who dreams of being a journalist was about to start her first day of college. She was worried about what it would be like as she was starting half way through the year. "What do you think it will be like?" Said Jessica to her father. "I have no idea, but I know you'll fit right in" As they pulled up to the front of the school Jessica looked at her father. She knew she wouldn't be seeing him for a while. "Bye dad, I love you" she said with watery eyes. "Bye Jess, have a great time and I'll see you in Spring for half term"
A Jess got out of her dads car she looked around to see the types of people she would be going to school with. She heard her dads car drive away and took her first couple steps. "This is it,"she thought "my first day." Jess made her way though the gates and felt a weird atmosphere, almost like the students were trying to be careful of their surroundings. Jess noticed a girl on her own who seemed to turn and look in every direction every few seconds. "How odd" Jess muttered. But for some odd reason Jess decided to approach her.
"Hey" said a very baffled Jess. "Are you ok? I noticed you looking in every direction as if you are trying to find something or someone"
The girl stopped looking around and looked at Jess. "You must be the new girl...Jess?"
"Yep...how do you know"
"I always find out about new students when they take journalism, although not many people do but one day I dream of being a journalist and I bet you do too."
"Wow, I don't even know your name but you seem to know mine and what subject I do." Jess and the girl both laughed.
"Where are my manors?! My name is Haley."
"Well Haley, it's nice to meet you. And may I ask...what or who are you looking for?"
"Clues" whispered Haley
