-- yoona's

"Dad! Mom!" I exclaim upon seeing them enter my apartment. Luckily, I didn't forget that they'd fetch me today so I cleaned everything beforehand. I wouldn't want my Mom to start bombarding me with questions once again.

"Surprisingly, it's neat. Are you sure this is really your place?" Yeri asks and when she plops herself at the sofa, I went near her and smacked her head, making her groan. "Mom! Look at Yoona! She keeps on bullying me!"

I hear Dad emit a soft laugh. "It's been a lonely week for Yeri. The whole house was quiet as well because you weren't there to bicker with her." He says. "Punchkin actually became her best friend and sometimes, I hear her talking to her –"

"Dad stop!" Upon hearing her outburst, I chuckle. I know that she must not have been used to not having me around (even I sometimes miss making her cry) and she actually talks to Punchkin at times that she's lonely.

I take a seat on Yeri's lap, annoying her even more. I didn't budge when she tried kicking me – I'm so used to her hits. I hug her head tightly and soon enough, I hear her giggle softly and she wraps her hands around my waist.

"Punchkin could have been a better companion if only she could talk." She says as I comb her hair. It's these rare times of being affectionate to one another that I miss a lot at home. Yeri and I might bicker all the time but she's my happy pill who keeps me energized when I'm feeling down.

"Alright, the both of you. We should keep going. Do you want to eat out or should I cook at home?" Mom says as she holds my bags that contain my dirty clothes I look at Yeri and the both of us share a knowing glance.

"Unnie, have you discovered great restaurant?" Aside from being my sister and fight buddy, Yeri is also my food companion. Since we have the same tastes in food, it's not hard for us to decide where we'll eat. It's one of those few things that we agree on.

"We can leave the car here since it's just around the corner. I haven't really explored the place yet because the first week is already a busy week." I complain as I glance at my parents with puppy eyes. "I don't want to do any chores when I get home, mom. I have a lot of school stuff to do."

"Hey! That's unfair!" Yeri exclaims as she pushes me, causing me to fall on the floor. I glare at her but she just sticks her tongue out at me and turns to look at our parents. "I've also been busy this week! The teachers already gave some assignments!"

"Oh, Im Yerim. As if you're really going to do those beforehand."

"I'm a responsible student now!"

I get up from my position and raise an eyebrow at her as I cross my arms in front of my chest. "Really? Then what is the tweet on your social media platform about some guy you apparently have a 'crush' on?"

Her ears turn red and before she can even reply, our Dad cuts off our conversation.
