For @writin4life1222

Your memories flashed back to when you and him were kids, when every day was a matter of avoiding the bullies. When every day you acted like you hated each other, only to come home and play games at his house. When every day the question was 'Can I go to Katie's house?' and not 'What did he do this time?'.  When it was just you two, against the world... Luckily, most best friends don't change, so you still had him.

Now, every day was the bully. Every one was the bully. Even yourself. Even the ones you though you loved. You sat on his bed, crying your eyes about, as he rubbed your back, unsure what to do. Anthony, a jock on the football team, whom you though lived you, had ripped up your heart by just simply saying 'Good luck finding a better ex than me.' and leaving you in the middle of the park grounds. When you had come out to the parking lot, he was gone. From there, you called your best friend. He drove you to his house, made you feel a bit better, and now he's letting you cry it all out.

"I-I-I d-don't unders-stand, Gee." You cried. "He just left me there." Gerard sighed.

"Well, Frank is planning on getting revenge on him, it's not like you're gonna go through this alone. Besides, Corinne and I both bet that he only left you 'cause he's gay." Gerard laughed. You looked up at him.

"What's Fra-ank's r-revenge plan?" You asked. Gerard shrugged.

"He wants to piss in Anthony's football helmet." You laughed.

"I'd like to see that!" You grinned at the thought of the jock carelessly slipping on his helmet, only to find it filled with urine. Your smiled dissapeared when you realised that Anthony would blame you and beat you up for it. You fell back into your somber mood. Gerard sighed.

"But, no one loves me." You muttered as your thoughts trailed to everything bad in the world.

"Katie! Lots of people love you!" Gerard scolded. You huffed and hugged your legs.

"Name four." He opened his mouth to speak, but you cut him off. "That aren't you, Ray, Frank, or Mikey." You specified yourself. Gerard though for a moment.

"Your parents, Corinne, and that guy who sits behind you in, uh, History? I think it's History.." He rambled on. You groaned.

"Gerard, no, I'm not a homosexual!" You laughed. "I mean people who love me more than friends. Not my parents, not your parents, not the creepy nerd who passes me notes in Biology, not the Grade A geek who sits behind me in History, not even the sexy kid in Art class. Cause he doesn't talk to me other than when he absolutly has to." You explained, your mood dropping as you went on, realising just how hopeless your love life is. Gerard took a deep breath. He opened his mouth o talk, then closed it, then opened it, and then closed it. His eyes were full of excitment, but at the same time, worry.

"Well," He started. "There's always me,"

"Gee, did you not hear me say 'that aren't you, Ray, Frank, or Mikey'?" You groaned, looking into his deep hazel eyes.

"Well, maybe I do love you more than just a friend..." He stated, looking in your eyes. You sat for a moment, before registering what he had said.

"You... You...love me?" You asked, heart swelling at the idea. If someone as amazing as Gerard could love you, how could you not love you? The black haired boy looked down. He muttered something then cleared his throat.

"Yeah, I do. I have, ever since Freshman year." He explained. You jumped forward and hugged him.

"Thant's okay, because I love you too." You leaned away, and he met your lips with his.
