~Prologue~
"Your a witch honey." I was shocked at what my parents had said. I thought witches were green skinny women with bent noses and moles on their faces. I thought they were myths and stories to scare little children on the night of October 31st. I guess they are true.
"But how?" I asked looking at them back and forth.
"Because I'm a witch. That means your a half-blood." my mom said. I took this all in calmly. I pushed a strand of my blonde hair behind my ear and licked my lips, still slightly confused by all of this.
"You never said that you were a witch."
"I know. I just never used magic in front of you so you wouldn't have known."
"So do I go to a special school since I'm a witch. You know. To learn 'magic' " I said quoting my fingers on magic.
"Yes. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They sent a letter that lists the supplies you need to get. We'll go to Diagon Alley tomorrow. Okay?" I nodded then went upstairs. I've never felt so confused yet thrilled in my life before. The thought of learning magic was pretty exciting and to be honest, I couldn't wait to start.

It was very crowded at Diagon Alley. And I don't mean at the mall when there's a one day sale, but to the point when you can't walk anywhere. I got overexcited and lost my parents. I figured we would find each other sooner or later. I walked into the bookshop called Flourish and Blotts to see what I could get from the supply list. I'm not gonna waste my time sitting at the same spot looking for my parents when they are the ones who are supposed to be looking for me. I looked down at the list. I needed a book called Magical Drafts and Potions. I saw a section that said 'Potions'. By the time I was done looking for my books I couldn't see anything in front of me so I had to tilt my head to the side. When I made a turn my books fell. I let out a sigh as I realized the mess I had just made. "Sorry." Two red headed twins said together. Creepy.
"It's okay. I'm the one who's supposed to be saying sorry. I couldn't see because of the pile of books..." my voice trailed off. "Anyway. I'm Cassidy. Cassidy Willson." I stretched my hand out for them to shake.
"I'm Fred Weasley."
"George Weasley." George shook my hand first then Fred. I had a chill go up my spine. We just stood there staring at each other. Awkward.
"Have I seen you before?" he asked.
"No I don't thin--"
"Cassy! Where are you honey?!"
"Umm coming Mum!" I yelled back. "I gotta go." I started to walk away when Fred said something else.
"See you at Hogwarts!"
"You too Fred. George." I nodded at them. I remembered which one was which as Fred was slightly cuter than George.
