Chapter 10

Georgina's POV

Minutes later,we arrived in front of a tall skyscraper that happens to be our destination.As we got out of the car,my phone beeped.I fished it out and saw that it was a message from Diana.

From: Dolce Diana ;)

Hey,where are you? Your house looks lonely.

I quickly typed a reply.

To: Dolce Diana ;)

I'm with the lads.We're currently at Syco headquarters,downtown.What are you doing at my place anyway? XD

Not a moment too soon,she replied.

Well,I was wondering if I could stay there.But never mind,I guess you're pretty busy with someone else.I'll be at Andi's place.Don't even bother replying.

I frowned at the message.Why is she acting like a total uptight bitch?! I just don't get it.Niall must have seen my expression because he threw his arm around me and gave it a tight squeeze.

"You're going to be okay." he whispered and smiled.I smiled back warily.He must have thought it was my before-the-big-meeting nerves.Well,he thought wrong.

Don't mind D,maybe she's just jealous. my brain reassured me.And for the first time,I'm glad she was there.

"I.D.s pleeze." A lovely lady told us,with a thick European accent.She was around her mid-40's and yet she still manages to look gorgeous.Her strawberry blonde hair was kept in a tight bun.She looks sharp and smart in her outfit.The few minutes I was here,I noticed that everyone who seem to work here are ALL pretty.Even the guys here look like handsome Greek gods.I read her name tag and saw that her name was Antonietta Filippo.

"I.d?" she turned to me and smiled,making her pearly white teeth show.Now I feel conscious of my teeth and wether I brushed it last night.As a result,I covered my mouth with a hankie,shaking my head in reply.She looked at me and raised her eyebrows.On my right,Louis and Zayn chuckled at me.I catched Harry giggling,winking at me jokingly.I raised an eyebrow at him.I can tell he knows the reason of my sudden reaction.Damn.

"I take eet sheez your guest?" she asked Paul,who gave her a thumbs up.

"Follow me pleeze." she called on to us,and marched away towards the wide lobby.When she and the others were far ahead of me,I quickly put my hankie in my purse and sighed.Someone behind me laughed at my expression.I turned and saw Niall,still laughing at my reaction and slung his arm on my shoulder.

"Don't feel insecure G." He said,still giggling.

"Well,its hard." I replied. "I mean,look at her! She's drop dead gorgeous--"

"Yeah?" he asked,raising his eyebrows.I was confused at his reply.

"Well,what does she look like to you then?"

Niall checked her out,making me feel a pang of jealousy.

Oh,don't be stupid.I peptalked myself.Finaly,he said "She looks just like the other people working here.She's simply...pretty.I think you're over exaggerating the gorgeous part."

I looked at him,shocked "Well,she is to me!"

"Not to me though." he replied.He turned to look at me with such intensity,my cheeks are betraying me.Stop Niall,stop!!

"I think you're more gorgeous than her." he said,stroking my cheek gently.After that,what he did next pretty much surprised me.He leaned forward and kissed me softly on the lips.When he pulled away,I can feel the elephants inside me,trumpeting in protest.I followed my elephants need and kissed him again,more hungrily and with much more force than the last.I can feel him smile at the kiss and he thankfully responded.It was wonderfuly...perfect and surreal.Here I am,in Syco headquarters,kissing one of the most wanted artists in the whole world,not caring if people were looking at us,not caring if Diana would have seen us,not caring if the other lads were wolf whistling at us right this moment,not caring if Harry...

Harry...

We could have stayed like this forever,when I took up the courage and abruptly stopped.He looks at me, concern and confusion etched on his handsome face."What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I replied,my lips swollen from from the kiss."It's just that..I really feel nervous." I lied to him.He took my hand and kissed it.

"Like I said,you're going to be fine." he smiled. "I will be here G.I will always be here for you."

We followed Antonietta and entered a large office at the topmost floor of the building.The office was separated from the sky with glass,strong enough to withstand any weather condition (Liam the brainy,told me a while ago.) In the middle was a long,rectangular table,with 6 white chairs on both sides.A tall,professional man stood in front of the glass,watching a flock of birds flying to the East.He clearly did not notice our arrival.

"Mr.Cowell." Antonietta started. "They're here."

He turned and...wow.

He looked like Zeus,English version.He's around his mid 50's but he still manages to look...composed and okay (like Antonietta here).His face is a bit lined and his hair has tints of gray in it.He definitely looks like he's some big shot buisnessman or something...

Not that I like him alright.I mean,c'mon...He's totally out of my league.

"Uncle Si!" Harry shouted like a child,running towards him and engulfed him in a hug.Awwhh...how sweet! The other guys followed and hugged him too.I,on the other hand,did not dare follow them.I don't want to embarass myself.He doesn't even know me.So I just stood there awkwardly,beside Paul,watching this lovey dovey scene right in front of me.

After he hugged each and every lad,he turned to me and smiled "So,this is her?" he asked Liam,who nodded.He reached out his hand,which I gladly took and introduced himself,even though I know who he is."I'm Simon Cowell.Nice to meet you,miss..."

"Georgina.Georgina Jefferson." I added,smiling at him.He simply nodded and announced."Soo...boys" he turned to the lads "And Georgina." he addressed,smiling at me politely."Please take your seats and let the meeting begin."
