Allura and the five other paladins stared at Lance who's inside the healing pod with his eyes closed. "I can't tell if he looks healthy or not," Hunk said, squinting his eyes at the pod. "I think he's breathing weird," Pidge added. "You sure this is effective in a good way?" Olivia asked. "Oh, come on!" Keith yelled, poking the pod, but Allura pushed his hand away. "Not yet! A few more ticks," Allura growled, glaring at Keith. "How much better do you think he's gonna get in a few more ticks?" Keith asked, crossing his arms and looking away. "And what is a tick, exactly?" Pidge asked, turning her head towards Allura. "You know, a time slice," Allura said.

"Like a second?" Shiro asked, everyone looking towards the back. "What is a second?" Allura asked, tilting her head and everyone turned away from the pod. "Like this," Pidge explained, holding a holographic device with a timer on it, one second going by with a beeping noise. "I'm not sure. I think ticks are bigger," Allura said, leaning down towards the device, "Coran, do you have a ticker?" "Right here, Princess," Coran said, turning around and holding up a device with four lines on it, each facing in different directions like a compass and a beeping. "I think ticks are a little slower," Hunk said, Pidge and Hunk looking at the ticker and Allura walking towards them.

"I can't tell. We have to start them at the same time," Pidge said, looking at the timer device and Keith walked over. "Okay. Ready, go!" Coran yelled, holding the devices closer and the devices went at the same time, both beeping. "Yes! I think we're winning," Hunk yelled, a smile on his face. "Winning what? The intergalactic time-measuring competition?" Keith asked sarcastically, no one noticing the pod that Lance's in opened. "Your nothing but a rainy cloud," Olivia growled at Keith, she could feel his icy glare into the side of her head. "Yes," Hunk answered, looking offended. "You guys having a clock party?" Lance asked, everyone gasping. "Aw, Lance, you ruined it. Hey, Lance!" Hunk yelled, realizing and hugging Lance.

"What happened?" Lance asked, groaning. "We can tell you all about it while you get something to eat," Allura said, smiling at Lance, "Are you able to walk?" "Talking? Eating? Are you asking me out on a date?" Lance asked, smirking at Allura and Olivia as everyone commented. Olivia commented, crossing her arms, "Please, a date with you would be a nightmare."

~Time Skip~

Everyone stood in the dining room, Allura, Coran, and Shiro around Lance's chair with Hunk standing next to the table.

Keith, Pidge, and Olivia on the other side of the table as Lance is eating goo with a couple of mice on the table. "He'd be Sendak's prisoner right now, if not for Pidge," Allura explained, a mouse on her shoulder. "Well, you wouldn't have survived the explosion if Hunk and Coran hadn't gotten a new crystal," Pidge explained, Lance feed one of the mice. "Wow. Thanks, everybody. Sounds like the mice did more than you, though," Lance said, smiling at everyone. I know he was talking about Keith. "Busted," Olivia giggled.

"I punched Sendak!" Keith shouted, his arms crossed and furrowing his eyebrows at Lance. "Yeah, apparently after I emerged from a coma and shot his arm off," Lance said, scowling at Keith. "We had a bonding moment. I cradled you in my arms!" Keith shouted, looking hurt. "Nope. Don't remember, didn't happened. So, what happened to Sendak?" Lance asked, shaking his head then turning towards Allura. "He's frozen in a cryo-pod. We're keeping him here in the castle," Allura informed. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Lance asked, raising an eyebrow. "He's too dangerous to be set free," Olivia explained, ceasing her eyebrows, "Besides, Allura thinks we might be able to get some information about Zarkon from him."
