Chapter 13 girl talk.

As soon as we got into the apartment, the boys and girls went separate ways to our rooms since me and Cher had to talk and I'm sure the boys do too.

Once we sat down, I asked her "what the hell is going on with my life?" She looked at me and said "there's just a rough patch your going through skeeter." I sighed. "But I love Nathan still, and I can tell he does too, but he sent me that letter saying to move on, but how can I when I still love him? When I saw him again for the first time, I was shocked. He changed a lot. Had this... Tough demeanor. It's like he has this wall around him that no one can break."

Cher looked at me sadly. Damn it. I swear I hate sad looks. They irk me. "Let me ask you this," she turned her whole body to me and crossed her legs, Indian style. "Are you still, for sure, in love with him?" I didn't think, I said "yes. When I dated Will it just didn't feel right. I mean Will is an awesome best friend, and can make me laugh and all but it still didn't feel right. I didn't feel any sparks." She smiled and then said "well then, I suggest you CHASE AFTER HIM!!!!" She yelled. And after that, I was determined and she was right. I'm going to chase after him.

Jason's POV:

Me and Liam, after grabbing a Bacardi drink, went into my room and I just decide to discuss what just happened before.

"I'm still in shock with this." Liam said. "That makes two of us." I replied and took a sip of the beer. "He's changed so much. She never told us much of what happened during the kidnapping but now I know it was really bad." I then said and Liam nodded. "She had bruises on her and they took away her..." Liam stopped and I could feel both our anger reoccurring towards those bastards. They took away her virginity, raped her sexually and abused her. And all she could think about after that was Nathan. She said he had it worse. Which was really bad considering her injuries.

"I wish that kidnapping would've never happened, because then she wouldn't be this sad.... And broken." Liam said. "I know. I would do anything to see her smile. She is our little sister." I said and took another swig of the beer. "She is. And always will be. I don't think she'll ever be happy without him." Liam replied. "Yeah. The way she looks at him is the way Cher looks at you. Love." I spat the last word out bitterly. I can't love another girl. Not after the last girl left me because she couldn't handle the pressure. I couldn't blame her, those kids were mean to her and were mean to my sister when I was in school still.

We used to ride the bus, so one day this guy called her an ugly whore! The kid was in 7th grade! What a world this has come to. Little fucking 12 year olds cussing. Anyway I beat the kids face up to a pulp to make him the ugly whore he is. I got suspended for a day or two but it was worth it. After all my protective instincts were high when I took the test so I knew how to protect my little sister.

"Jas..." I sighed. "Please don't start on her. You know me. I won't be able to..." I didn't have to continue to say that I wouldn't be able to stop myself from crying like a fucking baby, and he nodded in understanding. Liam can understand a lot of things, for the same thing happened to him. His last girlfriend left him because she didn't like being a military girlfriend because she barely got to see him and shit. But after her he found Cher and they had a dear john kind of love. Damn I'm the only one who doesn't technically have someone. I know I saw that same look on Nathan that she had so I knew he still loves her too. He's just got to quit that brick wall thing. I don't like the gang stuff but if he makes her happy, well then so be it. I give them my blessing for marriage or whatever.

"We need to get them together." Liam said, voicing my thoughts. "I know."
