Shortly after the death of Voldemort, Hogwarts sent out letters to all the kids that didn't attend their seventh year, informing them that there was going to be a chance for them to return that following September, to have the chance to make up the lost year that was so wrongly taken from them, by Voldemort and all of his devestation.

Harry had gotten the letter about two weeks after he had killed Voldemort and was really looking forward to spending one last year at Hogwarts with Ron and Hermione, who had both said they would also be returning to the repeat year. He was hoping that it would be like old times; like before his fourth year when Voldemort had arisen once again. But felt like that was to much to hope for, since the late Dumbledore was no longer Headmaster and in his place was Professor Minerva Mcgonagall, who also still taught Transfiguration, seeing as she loved it so much. And some how Professor Snape had survived the attack from Voldemorts snake, Nagini, thanks to Madam Pomphrey and her incredible medical and magical skills. Secretly, Harry was looking forward to seeing him the most.
