Jack Sykes- Josh Green
Born Jackson Garrett Sykes. Jack is a native to Stillwater, Wisconsin where he's been raised by his single mother with the help of his grandmother and a few other friends of the Sykes family. Jack has no clue who his father is, only being told by his mom he was maybe a lawyer who studied at Stanford at the same time she did. High school-aged, Jack and his best friend Mark have been dealing with the strange occurrences that surround the Sykes family and their hometown for a little over a decade.

Mark Reese- Cody Christian
Born Marcus Reese. Mark has been Jack's best friend since they were in diapers. He is fellow native to Stillwater, Wisconsin and Jack's overzealous partner-in-crime. Mark has an unsteady relationship with both of his parents, considering they are always out of town on business and he is always over at the Sykes household. Around the same age as Jack, maybe a bit older, Mark is always following along with Jack as they try and save their town from the dark mysteries that threaten to destroy it, them and the world.

Nickole Sykes- Sophia Bush
Better known as Nikki/Nicki or Niks. Nickole is Jack's mother and third person in the Sykes family to hold the title of Deputy Sheriff in their home of Stillwater, Wisconsin. She studied at Stanford University on a full scholarship in the Criminal Justice department before getting a job as a US Marshall. After a near-death experience that almost took her from her baby, Nickole switched from the Marshalls to being a small-town police officer in her hometown.
