Arianna
"Get in loser, we're going to warped!" Avery yelled from her convertible mustang pulled up infront of my apartment. I let out a heavy sigh as I lugged my suitcase down the driveway.
I plopped down in the front seat as a wave of anxiety hit me. And of course Avery, my mind reading best friend, noticed.
"Aww, come on Ari!" She nudged my arm. "This summer is going to be kick ass."
I let out another sigh as I ran my fingers through my thick red hair.
"I mean really," Avery said as she turned the key and the engine roared to life, "We're following all of our favorite bands all over the country the whole summer. It's okay to be happy and enjoy yourself for once you know."
"Easier said than done." I replied, and Avery smirked as she pulled out of the neighborhood and onto the street.
I slid on my Ray Ban sunglasses and stared out the window.
Avery's right. Why shouldnt I enjoy myself? I thought as the car pulled onto the freeway. I'm twenty-one, out of college, on a roadtrip with my best friend, and hitting all the warped tour dates. What could possibly go wrong?
Tony
"We're here!" The bus driver shouted over his shoulder. "Welcome to your first warped tour date, Pierce the Veil."
I sat up from my bunk slowly and tried to rub away the bags from under my eyes.
"Tony get in here!" Vic yelled from the lounge area.
"Coming." I muttered as I ran my hand through my hair and adjusted the snapback on my head.
I pulled back the curtain and joined Vic, Mike, and Jaime in the lounge.
Vic was chatting with the bus driver as Jaime was waving out of the window at the fans that were now crowding around the parked bus.
I took a seat next to Mike on the couch as he sipped a beer lazily. I let out a small sigh as mike clasped his hand on my shoulder.
"Ah, Tony the depressed turtle." He said as I shot him a glare. "Here, this'll help." Mike said as he handed me a beer.
I took a sip and joined Jaime at the window. He had that big goofy grin on his face as he waved to the fans holding up their hand made signs. I rolled my eyes as i took my phone out of my pocket.
Four missed calls from: Kellie
Six text messages from: Kellie
Kellie: Are you at the venue yet babe?
Kellie: Why arent you answering?
Kellie: Ill just meet you at the venue. ;)
"I see you invited the crazy bitch." Jaime said glancing down at my phone, still waving out the window.
"Hey she's not..." I started. "Yeah I invited her." I muttered, sliding my phone in my pocket again. "She kind of invited herself." I said rubbing the back of my neck.
"Well just keep that thing on a leash." Mike called from the couch. "And away from me." He muttered taking a sip of beer.
"Its not that we dont like Kellie.." Jaime started.
"We just hate her." Mike finished.
Jaime laughed as i flipped Mike off and looked back out the window. I scanned the crowd and noticed a mustang pull up and park. At first the nice car caught my attention. Then the passenger door opened. A petite girl with cherry red hair down to her ribs stepped out of the car.
I raised my eyebrows as I took in her features. She was gorgeous.
She adjusted her Ray Ban sunglasses on her face as she glanced over in the direction of our bus and said something to her blonde friend who just nodded and pointed to our bus.
I looked away quickly but the vision of the girl never left my eyes.
What are you doing Tony? I thought to myself. You have Kellie. You like Kellie. I cringed a little at the thought my crazy girlfriend and took another swig of beer.
I glanced out the window again to see the red headed girl disappear into the crowd.
"I just need to know her." I whispered as she vanished into the sea of people.
