I was twelve. I was just talking to my best friend, Timm. We were just sitting there on the branch of a tree in the village park. We were talking about how boring school was or how our teachers were annoying, a guitar in my hands and a notebook in his.

"Haha. That's amazing."

"I know right!!!" I saw and looked at the children playing around. Timm was always a great person. Honor student, athlete, Mr. Popular. I was actually the same as him but I just didn't like to show it but I didn't really mind it anyway.

He gestured me to play a song so I started to play a soft tune.

"This one's mine."

"What's the title?"

I smirked at him, remembering something that always annoyed him. "No title."

"Why???" He whined, pouting like the childish boy he was. "You know I hate it when you don't name your work!"

"Too lazy."

"Jeez, Micky!"

"Hehehe."

I started singing the song.

I continued singing and stealing a few glances. He just kept smiling his goofy smile. I finished the song and gave out a little laugh.

"Why you laughing?"

"Your goofy smile."

"Damn you." He covered his mouth, trying his best to stop smiling but failed horribly, making me laugh even more.

"What now???" He demanded, closing the notebook shut.

"You're failing."

"You are so childish!"

"As if you're not." I retorted, smiling like an idiot.

"Fair point."

"In your face!" I started poking his cheeks.

"I get it. Now shut up." He said, trying to swat my hands away.

"If you say so."

I packed up my guitar, placing the in the notebook as well and put them in their case. I put it on my back, checked my watch, and started climbing down. It was already 6:30 pm.

"Where are you going?"

"Home. My mom's making tacos!" I smiled. I loved her tacos like a rich guy loved money.

"Can I come??" He asked, getting excited. He loved them as well.

"Of course! You're my best friend! Plus you live right across my house!"

"Oh right! I'll just ask my mom."

"Okay. Go do that. I'll head home and you go to yours."

We both headed to our homes. I took a quick shower, changed my clothes, went to the kitchen and soon after, he arrived with his mom and every other person in his main family. His dad, his older brother and younger sister.

Mark, dad, age 40

Michelle, mom, age 39

Kate, age 9

Brian, age 15

Then there's Timm, age 12. Just like me.

I really liked his family. They were like my second family every time my parents or siblings weren't around.

For me, I had two older siblings. Yep. I'm the youngest.

Greg, dad, age 40

Jenna, mom, age 41
