11. A Perfectly Good CakeThe long drive to the country house was silent after talking to the King. He didn't say anything and neither did I. We arrived at the country house which was literally in the country, with a pool and land. It was private and clearly nobody had bothered to come.
I walked out and saw them all in the large living room talking. Florence and Zander were holding hands, which I had to admit made me jealous. I had to stop feeling like I should be with him.
The king sat down and I placed myself on the other side of them all. Axel had gone out, and I just wanted to spend some time with him more then ever. I scrolled through my phone and started texting some friends from America, not bothering with the conversation.
"Did you hear Eloise?" My father interrupted my alone time.
"Pardon." I replied politely.
"In your next Holliday we'll all be staying here for the week." My father said, his dark brown hair like my own combed neatly. I gave a reassuring smile to him.
Spending a week with them all was the last thing I wanted in the world.
Florence, my mother and the Queen all went to wherever they needed to go and I had rang Axel to come pick me up for some quality time together.
I surprisingly didn't care what the rest of them were doing, Zander seemed tense and cautious now around his father. Hoping he wouldn't tell anyone about what had happened.
I and Axel spent our times in my apartment eating take out whilst watching a movie. He wanted to know everything that had happened and I surprisingly told him every detail making him internally cringe at the depth of the analogy of the situation.
"Enough, you've make me internally puke a gazillion times." He said putting his hand around my mouth. I bit it and he squealed.
"That's what you get?" I told him with a smirk.
"Your a vixen El." He told me and I burst out laughing at his choice of words.

"Eloise, want to come cake tasting with mamá and the Queen." Florence asked through the phone. I was in the car driving back to my apartment when Florence had ruined my peace.
"Yeah." I said it was cake, I would never say no to food. Especially free food. This was the first time Florence had asked me to do anything involving. She probably wanted to spend time without me. Which I loved!
"We'll pick you up from your apartment?" She said and hanged up on me.
I saw them waiting and told Liam to take my stuff. I went into the car with the rest of the ladies. The driver drove and Florence started talking about some dresses she fell in love with. They were ok.
"We're picking out bridesmaid dresses next weekend, I'll text you the address." Florence smiled, hopefully they wouldn't be pink, I'd have go make her stay away from pink.
We walked into the catering place and we tried some amazing cakes, in the end they had picked a cake flavour without my help as I was buying cake instead. They would have to come back to design the big cake.
I started eating the cake whilst in the car, as I was really hungry.
"Is she always this impolite." The Queen asked my mother.
My mother stayed quiet and Florence started talking for her.
"She's always like this, used to party all day, came back late, never did anything of importance." My sister said.
"I've never done any of that, you used to be that kind of person." I told her.
"And lied a lot." Florence ended.
"I hate you." I told her. I was getting super angry by her smug face. I got the cake and pushed it onto her face and started laughing.
She was utterly shocked and her face was filled with chocolate. I was gonna miss that cake that I took one bite of.
"Mamá." She squealed like a child.
"Eloise." My mother said sternly but you could see her trying to keep her laughter in.
"Immature." The Queen muttered, if I had another cake I would through at her as well. I knocked on the window where the driver was and asked him to stop.
I couldn't handle being with these type of people. The driver stopped and I walked out.
We were in London town, so I took the tube and headed up to my apartment, I had multiple calls from my mother and one from Florence probably to rant out how immature and pathetic I am for throwing a perfectly good cake at her.
Axel was lying on the sofa fast asleep, this guy really needs to not stay up all night.
