The young aspiring chef Gabi Diamond always imagined about how she would feel about the first person she truly loved. She always asked herself if they would ever truly love her back. To this day she hasn't truly loved anyone except for her long lost father. That has recently changed because of the one true person is her current boyfriend Cooper Finely. The only thing that was setting her back was a past fling with her very rich scruffy boss, Josh Kaminski. Josh Kaminski is a tech genius, that earlier affected her relationship with Cooper. Cooper always felt degraded by their earlier fling, he found out before they both officially told each other that they love each other. Which wasn't played out romantically, she told him before a big event between members of a serious relationship. Josh actually introduced Gabi and Cooper when Josh wanted to hire Cooper because he was also a tech genius. Gabi was working at the place where josh proposed their business deal to work together on new software. After they both got drunk, conflict was introduced by clumsiness from Cooper. The next day Gabi secretly invited Cooper to come over to Josh's house for an apology meal after their little conflict the night before. Josh was still proposing the business deal to Cooper. Josh said to always go with your gut after Cooper showed appreciation to Josh for the a second chance. Cooper took that advice and asked Gabi out. Gabi was flattered by his gesture. They had a date at Gabi's place. They started the evening off with some flaws about themselves. Gabi initially thought it would turn off Cooper but they both liked each other more. They secretly dated until she involved her roommate which is also her best friend. Which at the time also was in a relationship with a co-worker. In one of her not 100% , foolproof plans because her boss was actually jealous of Cooper. Although he was engaged to a wealthy way out of his league woman. Her best friend, Sophia, went along with her plan as she usually does until Josh's fiance asked her to go to a concert that she has been trying to get tickets for all week. At the concert Sophia's boyfriend saw her and Cooper together. He thought that she was cheating on him she tried to explain. He didn't want to hear her excuses. They broke up afterwards by text message, she didn't tell Gabi like she usually did after a breakup. Cooper didn't like seeing Gabi betray her best friend nor her trust in him to work out the situation before she caused it to get worse and more of a lie. After that she broke up with him. She only told Josh he wasn't happy, but she asked him to be her friend and not her boss to help her get through the shock of the events that was caused by a lie. Later on Josh developed stronger feelings for Gabi as did Gabi for Josh. Josh figured out that his fiance didn't know him as well as Gabi did. Later that night he broke of his wedding Cooper flew back from his recent job in China to see Gabi's face open a sentimental gift. Josh ran to talk to Gabi about his feelings for her as if he was in her favorite Julia Roberts movie, Pretty Woman. Which included him holding roses running up her fire escape in the pouring rain. He was devastated to see her wrapped closely into Cooper's wet arms as for he just went through the front door. Before they fell asleep in each other's arms they watched her favorite show Caught in a Storm. That show is the main reason her fantasies of her romantic relationships are so fictional. Cooper is actually the name of the main character that the main girl falls in love with. She loves those kind of coincidences. She was forgetting about her feelings for Josh as she went to work the next day joyfully. Josh suspiciously asked Gabi about her night. She described her night by telling him and her other two co-workers, Elliot and Yolanda that Cooper came to her apartment and gave her a sentimental gift. She wished that he went up her fire escape like in pretty woman. Josh laughed hysterically as if he didn't even care about her night, which of course he did because of how devastated he still was. He had a guest from his devastation. That resulted in an uncomfortable conversation about later reservations. Cooper went back to China to finish his job there. When he was gone Josh tried so many ways for her and Cooper to break up. Even getting his brother, Jake to fall for her she kept her space. He tried to get them to be alone driving to Coachella in a food truck that he bought for them. Cooper came back and asked Josh where Gabi was, Nosh had told him that she was at Coachella. He made Cooper furious with lies that he made Josh go with him to Coachella to prove that Gabi was loyal to him. She was but unfortunately they were only one sleeping bag that was correctly planned by Josh. When Cooper and Josh got to where they were parked Cooper assumed that something happened between his brother. He confirmed that he tried to but she wanted to stay loyal to Cooper. Cooper shoved it in Josh's face. Josh was so devastated by Gabi's loyalty. Gabi had learned loyalty from her dad because he would travel a lot but was always loyal to her mom. She learned to cook from her dad , they both dearly loved Julia Child. All of her love of food led to her being a chef which led her to being Josh's chef which led to her meeting Cooper the man that she truly loved and truly loved her. Cooper was so estatic to see her be so loyal that he proposed to her right then and there he said that he has been waiting to do ask her but he wanted to be an amazing moment for her to remember she so excitedly said yes. Josh was thinking so hard on the fact that she was about to marry someone that wasn't him. Josh wondered if he told her how he felt that it would change her mind. So the next time that she came into his office to give him his lunch he would tell her how he felt. He did she was so happy to feel nothing for him. He was confused by her silence. She only said that she was leaving early to get ready for her engagement party that was the day before the wedding. As she walked out he kissed her she was disgusted by the kiss she walked in silence to the elevator that took her away from that horrible moment. He described the kiss to elliot his best friend as if it was the kiss to last a lifetime. Gabi described the kiss to sophia as if the kissed killed a lifetime by the disgust it caused her. She went to her engagement party as if the kiss didn't even happen. Josh was there like he was getting married to her all flirtatious with her as she cuddled with Cooper. He kept asking her if she was okay she said of course who wouldn't be okay that she doesn't have feeling for someone that does have feelings for her. That is also her boss. Sophia said a toast about good and bad relationships that included she walked away from Cooper to get some air because it reminded her of the disgusting kiss that happened earlier. Josh happily walked over to her to "confront" her. Gabi said," I don't want to see you"Josh said," because you have feelings for me" she pressed the intercom button as she began to speak. She angrily said," Why did you kiss me? Im perfectly happy with Cooper can't you see that. To be honest that was the worst kiss I have ever experienced in my life. If you felt any sparks it was probably me gagging." she apologized for any things she might of said to hurt his feelings. Everybody clapped because they knew that she has been holding all of those emotions. Cooper was actually crying tears of joy and being "manly' by saying that there was something in his eye also he also fake yawned. She romantically said that she only has feelings for him and only him and that tomorrow can't come any earlier to finally be his legally. Her and Josh made amends. Her and Cooper have increased their income by some much that the live in a place almost as expensive as Josh's. Cooper is a multi- billionaire tech genius. Gabi is now a professional television chef that has a youth chef program for underprivileged children under the age of 18. She occasionally cooks for Josh for special events. Gabi and Cooper both tell each other how loyal to each other as a competition. Every night before they watch pretty woman or re-runs of Caught In A Storm on Netflix. As they fall asleep in each other's arms as if they just started dating.
