Creation
Genesis – In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:3- And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.( Cross reference to 1st Gospel of the New Testament)
In Matthew 5:16-Jesus said, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Now back to Genesis the 1st book of the Old Testament
Genesis 1:6-And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Genesis 1:9-And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place. and let the dry land appear; and it was so.
Genesis 1:11-And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Genesis 1:14,15- And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth; and it was so.
Genesis 1:20-22 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly after their kind; and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good . And God blessed them saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Genesis 1:24-And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind; and it was so.
Genesis 1:26-And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.. verse 4-And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. verse 5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. Verse 6- And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they all have one language; and this they begin to do; and nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Verse 7-Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another 's speech. Tower Of Babel

Genesis 14:22-24-And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich, Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me; Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
